With her house brimming with friends from the industry, her cousins and relatives coming in to spend time with the soon to be ‘Mrs Ahuja’, Sonam’s house has become an assembly of stars. When we talk about Sonam’s dad, Anil Kapoor’s close friends from the industry, one person who deserves a special mention is Anupam Kher. Yesterday, Anupam took to social media and posted an adorable video of the beautiful bride-to-be with a heart-warming caption for her. He wrote: “Bride to be. My dearest darling @sonamkapoor. As per reports, Anupam will attend Sonam’s reception party which is going to be a complete glitzy affair. Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor amongst others, will perform on special tracks for Sonam. A source close to the family informed Filmfare, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers- Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan. As mentioned earlier, Anil and Anupam are extremely close to each other. So much so, that Sunita calls Anupam, Anil’s second wife! Yes, the to-be-Mrs herself shared it an interview with News 18. She said, “My dad is always hanging out with Anupam uncle. Many times in the evening, he calls up my mom, and says that he's going to have dinner over at his place. My mom calls Anupam uncle my dad's 'second wife’.”
Sonam’s sister, Rhea Kapoor, shared a small video on her Instagram handle yesterday where all the cousins were seen gathered together at Sonam’s house, where brother Arjun Kapoor was seen trolling Sonam. He was seen teasing Sonam and said, “It feels like I am watching Veere Di Wedding live, like no really. Aur kitni tareefein chahiye tumhein!” He further looks at Sonam and says, “Sonam you clearly aren’t interested in what’s happening here.” And Sonam replied with a “No, I am figuring out something.”
With only 4 days left to go, we can totally understand the hustle and bustle that is going on at Anil’s Juhu bungalow. By the way, did you guys spot the glow on Sonam’s face?
