'Anupamaa' actress, Madhavi Gogate passed away at the age of 58. The veteran actress' co-stars from the show mourned the sad demise of the talented person.
Madhavi Ghogate was a prominent name in the Marathi film industry. Among the other well-known ventures in Madhavi Gogate's career was in the Marathi movie Ghanchakkar, He Khel Nasheerbache and Dokyala Taap Nahin. She had also starred in Hindi television serials like Koi Apna Sa, Kahiin Toh Hoga, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki and in Hindi films like Yeshwant (1997) and Krishna Cottage (2004).
Recently, Madhavi Ghogate had gathered a lot of fame by playing the role of 'Kanta Joshi' in the television show, Anupamaa. She was playing the role of the lead character 'Anupamaa's (played by Rupali Ganguly) mother. Owing to her ill health, the actress had recently quit the show and was replaced by veteran actress, Savita Prabhune. However, after a long battle, Madhavi succumbed to death.

Madhavi Ghogate breathed her last on November 21, 2021. A few days back, the veteran actress was admitted to the Seven Hills Hospital in suburban Mumbai after testing positive for COVID-19. After showing signs of improvement in her health, it started deteriorating in the afternoon and she passed away at the age of 58.
To mourn the shocking death of Madhavi Ghogate, her co-stars from the industry shared their grief through emotional posts. Rupali Ganguly, who used to play her on-screen daughter's character, took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture with the veteran. Expressing her shock on the news of the untimely demise of the actress, Rupali wrote:
"So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji."

It was Madhavi Ghogate's Anupamaa co-star, Alpana Buch, who shared the news of her death for the first time. Sharing the picture of the actress on her IG handle, she penned a heartwrenching note that can be read as:
"Madhaviji this is not done..actor can not take exit before scene gets over...we will miss you on Anupamaa set...your cute smile.. sweet voice...n humor...we will all miss you.”
On the other hand, Mehul Nisar, who played her son, Bhavesh Joshi's role in Anupamaa, was 'shocked' and 'numb'. He could not believe that Madhavi Ghogate was no more. Sharing a picture of himself with the actress from the sets of the show, Mehul wrote:
''Shocked..! Numb..! Unbelievable..! Madhaviji has left us..! RIP #madhavighogate #anupamaa.''
