Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their first Christmas with their little one, Vamika. Details inside.
The gorgeous Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and Indian cricket team skipper, Virat Kohli, on December 11, 2017. And since then, they have been living their best lives as husband and wife. In January 2021, the couple had welcomed their little bundle of joy into their lives.
On February 1, 2021, Anushka Sharma had posted the first-ever family picture with their then-newborn daughter, introducing her to the world. Announcing her daughter's unique name, Anushka had written:
“We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”

A few moments ago, Anushka Sharma took to her IG stories to share a glimpse of her daughter, Vamika's first Christmas celebration. In the picture, we can see a white and multi-coloured bobby printed tent with lots of balls in it. Atop of the picture, the actress wrote:
"Thank you for making Christmas special."
A few hours ago, the actress shared a throwback picture with her hubby, Virat Kohli from one of their trips. In the picture, the actress can be seen posing with Virat along with a Santa Claus. Along with the picture, Anushka captioned it as:
"Merry Christmas from Santa and us!"

On December 19, 2021, Anushka Sharma had taken to her Instagram stories and had thanked the paps and the media houses for maintaining their privacy and not publishing Vamika's pictures or videos. She had written:
“We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward.”
Going further in her gratitude note, as a parent, Anushka had requested everyone to give Vamika all the privacy that she deserves, away from the glares of the media. She had added:
“We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice (retrain) in the matter. A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you.”
