During the 'NH10' promotions, Anushka Sharma called out the interviewer for asking her indirect questions about her and Virat Kohli. Read on to know more.
Anushka Sharma is one of the most famous and successful actresses of Bollywood. She worked as a model before winning several accolades during her acting career. She gained success and popularity with her debut film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, in which she was paired opposite the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, in 2008. After making her debut, she has starred in several films including Band Baaja Baaraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, NH10, Dil Dhadakne Do, and many more.
Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli, on December 11, 2017. After years of courtship and speculations, the couple got married in a dreamy set-up in Italy, which left everyone surprised. They embraced parenthood in 2021 with Vamika Kohli, and later became parents to a son, Akaay, on February 15, 2024. Although the couple has shifted to London for some privacy, they are still counted among the power couples of Bollywood. Recently, a throwback video of Anushka Sharma went viral when her relationship with Virat was not official. In the video, she was visibly seen avoiding her relationship status.
Anushka’s movie, NH10, was released in 2015. Although there were speculations of her dating Virat Kohli at that time, neither side officially confirmed it. The actress has always been reluctant to discuss her personal life in the media. In the video that has resurfaced on the social media, Anushka is seen irritated as the anchor from ABP News tries to make her reveal her relations with the Indian cricketer.
The interviewer asked Anushka that just like her family and friends call her to congratulate for the films’ success, whether she too had called any Indian cricket player to wish them encouragement for the 2015 World Cup. In reply, the actress was seen visibly irritated and she pointed out that it was a personal question. She also said that the question is unrelated to her film, NH10. In her words:
“Like I said, ye naa meri film se related kuch topic hai, aur ye ek bohot personal question hai ki aap aapni call list mein dikhaiye ki kisko phone kiya gaya tha. So it’s very personal and aap bhi puchenge ki ye stupid sa sawaal kyu kara jaa raha hai. Nobody really wants to know this. Aapke channel mein log acchi news dekhte hai, that’s what’s exciting for them. In a general way mein agar aap mujhse puch rahi hain, toh obviously mein bolungi ki I am supporting, everybody is supporting the team.”

Since Anushka and Virat made their relationship official and got married, they never shied away from displaying their affectionate bond in the public. In another throwback interview with Filmfare, the actress was asked about how she is different from her husband, Virat Kohli. To this, she replied adorably that there are not much differences between the husband and wife jodi. However, she mentioned that there are some occasions when they cutely disagree with each other.
Talking about the things both of them like to do, Anushka said that they love to stroll around whenever they go on an international vacation. The actress further added that she and Virat likes to be happy in the little things like, shopping in the supermarket, and chilling in their free time. When she was asked about the differences, Anushka mentioned that if she gets late getting ready, even by seven minutes, whenever the couple is going out, Virat starts hovering around her.
