Virat Kohli is currently in the UK where the 12th edition of ICC Cricket World Cup is being held, leading the men in blue. Amidst the responsibilities and pressure of world cup, Virat Kohli recently posted a picture from one of his practice sessions wherein we could see an all-smiling Virat which made the day of all the cricket fans. Virat Kohli had captioned his picture as, “A good laugh is the best medicine.” Just as we were in awe of Virat’s post, soon we were bowled over by Anushka Sharma’s comment on the same. The doting wife simply left a heart-emoji on Virat’s post, subtly suggesting how much in awe she herself was of her husband’s smiling shot. Take a look:
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have always been candidly vocal about their marital life, their love and respect for each other and how they take out time for each other. Recently, Virat had the most adorable words for Anushka when he was asked about his captaincy and the changes in it that he perceives post-marriage. Virat was quoted as saying, “You become responsible, that is what I feel. Before you have the responsibility in your life but that is very different. You start understanding things better (after marriage) and start putting things into perspective a lot more. From that point of view, I have become more responsible and that helps you in captaincy as well. It has only improved my captaincy as a human being and player outside." In another media interaction, Virat had the sweetest words for Anushka Sharma. Sharing how she motivates him, Virat had talked about Anushka, “My wife has been keeping me motivated throughout, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going throughout this tour and when times have been tough, and I am really grateful for that. When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different. It came with her own challenges & perspective on things.”
At India Today Mind Rocks 2018, Anushka had labelled her relationship and marital life with Virat ‘as normal as anyone else’s’, and had revealed, “Both of us really love doing what we do professionally. We don't take our professions too seriously. We don't draw our identity only from that. We are very simple and like doing normal things. For the world, it is about our professions. But in reality, it is as normal as anyone would be in a relationship.”
Anushka Sharma, in another media interaction, had shared how being at home feels like a vacation to them. She was quoted as saying, “Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives. So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! It’s a vacation." (Must Read: Sara Ali Khan And Kartik Aaryan Celebrate Eid Outside A Mosque Having Covered Their Faces)
