Amid his feud with Diljit Dosanjh, AP Dhillon seemingly took a dig at the former's Dil-Luminati concert as he talked about the tactics behind tickets being sold in seconds.
AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh have been hitting the headlines with their war of words online. For the unversed, AP Dhillon has accused Diljit of blocking him on IG, while the latter proved that he didn't. Well, AP Dhillon hit back at Diljit by sharing proof further to prove that he had been on the Lover singer's block list. Now, it seems like AP Dhillon again took a dig at Diljit as he recently talked about the 'tactics' for selling tickets to concerts in seconds. For those who chipped in later, the tickets for Diljit's concert have been sold within seconds of going live since the time he began his Dil-Luminati tour.
While appearing on The Ranveer Show, AP Dhillon talked about the controversy of the 'pricey' tickets for concerts in India being sold within seconds. Talking about the same, AP stated that there will soon be a crisis in India if things continue to go this way. He didn't take anyone's name but mentioned that artists are being unfair to their own fans, who wait to grace their favourite star's concert. Hinting that the selling of tickets to concerts in 15 seconds is just a promotional tactic, AP added that, this way, the true fans have to wait and buy tickets at higher prices. AP can be quoted as saying:
"India mein abhi crisis aa jayega agar isi hisab se chalta raha. Artists are being unfair with their own fans ki 15 seconds mein sell out ho gaye shows. Kuchh bhi sell out nahi hua hai. It's all a way of marketing. Promoters ko ticket de dete hain. Their fans, ab unko wait karna padta hai, aur higher price mein ticket khareedna padta hai."
Going further in the conversation, AP Dhillon stated that at first he also thought that he should do something like this, but he couldn't as he thought about his fans. He claimed that he could even arrange 2000 tickets for any show, which is being showcased as 'sold out'. He further added that artists are taking the music as a game, and thus, there's no fun left. AP mentioned that the artists aren't bigger than their fans, and labelled everything as a 'dirty game' while remarking that the fans deserve to buy tickets at a reasonable price. In AP Dhillon's words:
"At some point, humein bhi yehi laga, should we play this game? But I'm like no, we can't go to bed knowing that jinhone show dekhne aana tha, humne unke sath aise kiya. You name it, koi bhi show ho raha hai jo sold out hai, mujhe batao, 2,000 tickets chahiye, kal hi dilwa dunga. Aaj hi dilwa dunga. Log music ko abhi game ki tarah khel rahe hain. So usi mein mazza jo hai kharab ho gaya."
It all began when AP Dhillon accused that Diljit had blocked him on Instagram. Earlier, Diljit gave a shout-out to AP and Karan Aujla. Well, when AP was asked about the same during one of his live concerts, he remarked that he should be unblocked first and then talk to Diljit. Soon, Diljit reacted as he shared a cryptic note, wherein he stated that he is only answerable to his mom, and no one else, so 'AP' could come to him after cleaning his face, and then too, he wouldn't talk to him. He also shared a screengrab, wherein AP was not seen being blocked.
AP Dhillon took no time to react. He shared a screen recording, showcasing how he was not able to access Diljit's profile first, and then he was able to do so. It roughly means he was blocked first and then he was removed from the list. AP also shared a note, wherein he stated that he wanted not to open his mouth as he knew he would get all the hate.
