Bollywood singer, AR Rahman's daughter, Khatija had married Riyasdeen Shaikh Mohamed on May 5, 2022. Since then, pictures and videos from her intimate wedding ceremony have been winning our hearts. On June 10, 2022, AR Rahman hosted a grand wedding reception for his daughter, Khatija and pictures of the same have surfaced on the internet.
On May 6, 2022, Khatija had posted the first-ever picture with her husband. In the candid picture, the couple was lost in their thoughts. Alongside it, Khatija had penned a heartmelting note and had shared that she had married her dream man. She had written:
"The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man @riyasdeenriyan. "

A few seconds ago, Bollywood actress, Manisha Koirala posted pictures from Khatija's grand celebration. The new bride looked gorgeous donning a purple-hued lehenga with a matching hijab. She accessorised her look with a layered necklace and a matching maang teeka. On the other hand, her groom wore a black-hued tuxedo.
The father of the bride, AR Rahman opted for a navy blue-coloured kurta with a matching blue jacket. Alongside the pictures, Manisha Koirala penned a note for the newly-married couple. She wrote:
"A.R.Rehman sir’s daughter's wedding reception was sheer joy.. meeting my colleagues from here really warmed my heart!! This celebration has added more to already many lovely memories of #chennai !! God bless the newly wed!"
On June 9, 2022, AR Rahman had shared an adorable video of his daughter's grand celebration. In the video, we could see Khatija decked up in her bridal ensemble. On the other hand, AR Rahman had donned a maroon-hued bandhgala sherwani. Alongside it, she had written:
"Two souls united!"
