Archana Puran Singh revealed she had to sit and give laughing shots for 'The Kapil Sharma Show' even after she got the news of her mother-in-law's death. She also shared her husband's reaction to it.
Archana Puran Singh is one of the famous faces of the entertainment industry, who is known for her comic roles. Back in 2019, she joined The Kapil Sharma Show as a judge and won everyone's hearts. Archana's famous laughter is another main attraction of Kapil Sharma's comedy show, and time and again, the actress has opened up about the same. Yet again, Archana revealed that one time when she had to laugh on the show after she lost someone special in her life.
Archana Puran Singh recently sat for an interview with Instant Bollywood, wherein she talked about her role in the Kapil Sharma show. The actress said that once, while she was shooting for an episode, she received the news about her mother-in-law's death. Archana mentioned that she told the makers that she wanted to go home. Archana revealed getting goosebumps while sharing the story and added that the episode was not even completed, and thus the makers asked her to give a few laughing shots so that they could attach it to wherever they needed in the episode.
In the same interview, Archana Puran Singh shared that she just sat for the shots, and gave them while, in her head, she was thinking what must have been going on in her home. When the host asked how she laughed in that situation, Archana shared that after being 30-40 years in the industry, one needs to understand that one cannot leave their work in the middle as the producer has also invested in the project.
Archana Puran Singh mentioned that her husband, Parmeet Sethi, also understood the situation, although, he needed 15 minutes. Archana added that she was all blank, and in her head, just the shots and the news of her mother-in-law's death were going on, and she mentioned how tragic her situation was that she had laughed forcefully after this heartbreaking news.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Archana Puran Singh was asked if she was ever asked to tone down her laughter. To this, the actress revealed that she wouldn't even listen to anyone if anyone suggests the same, as she's getting paid for it. When Archana was asked if other cast members are jealous of her as she just puts her makeup on and laughs to earn, while others just work hard, she said that other cast members get double her salary. If the reports are to be believed Archana Puran Singh gets a remuneration of Rs. 10 lakh per episode on the comedy show.
