A similar scene was seen at his recent UK concert, and the videos of the same went viral quickly. As Arijit is touring in Europe, his fans in foreign nations make it a point to visit his concerts. One female UK fan attended Arijit's concert and shared a video of her being manhandled by the singer's guards.
In the video, we saw a female fan trying to go towards the stage near Arijit as he signalled towards his fans amid his concert. However, when the fan tried to move ahead, one of the security guards nearby grabbed her by the neck to push her back. Arijit, who was singing on the stage, quickly noticed the site and apologised to the women, which won him a lot of applause. He was quoted as saying:
"I am really sorry, ma'am. I wish I was there to protect you, but I could not. Please sit down."

When the fan shared the video clip of this incident, it went viral, and Arijit's fan clubs quickly reshared it. In one such post, a user wrote, "Such a decent human being, first and foremost Arijit Singh." Another user wrote, "Love u, Arijit sir. Not just the greatest singer of this era but also the most humble and grounded celebrity."
