Arijit Singh's cryptic tweets about late Sushant Singh Rajput's unsolved death grab eyeballs, as the singer later deletes the thread of posts.
Arijit Singh has shared a close connection with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, since he has played back a number of songs for the latter. Soulful melodies, including Khairiyat, Jaan Nisaar, Qaafirana, Main Tera Boyfriend, Ik Vaari Aa among so many others. It was back on June 14, 2020, when Sushant left for his heavenly abode, leaving countless of his fans heartbroken. While nobody never knew what actually happened that led the actor to take such a brutal step and end his life, it was recently, Arijit Singh who made some cryptic posts about the same.
Taking to the social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), Arijit Singh dropped a few random posts, wherein he attempted to talk about the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In the first tweet, the singer wrote, “that’s what happened with SSR”, and soon enough, he followed it up with another tweet which read, “SSR was too good… we couldn’t handle him”. While both Sushant and Arijit’s fans were left perplexed about the meaning behind the posts, the singer later deleted the posts and penned another tweet that read:
“sorry had to delete it.”

Sushant Singh Rajput's unfortunate demise in 2020 broke millions of hearts, as the news came no less than a shocker for his countless fans. While the massive fan following of the actor was expecting more magic from his acting prowess, the actor left for his heavenly abode at the age of 34. For the unversed, Sushant was found dead at his residence in Bandra on June 14, 2020. Termed by many as a mysterious death, the incident was soon after probed by the CBI, as well as nforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) doing separate investigations.

Well, many are aware of the infamous fight that happened between Salman Khan and Arijit Singh. It was back in an award function in 2014 when the singer’s comment upon receiving an award on-stage seemingly insulted the actor. As a result, Salman immediately removed Arijit’s songs from his films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick and Sultan. Two years later, in 2016, Arijit had penned a public apology letter to Salman, offering his clarifications. An excerpt from his note could be read as:
“Dear Mr Salman Khan, This is the last way I thought I would speak to you. I have been trying to text you call you and do everything possible to tell you that you are mistaken about the fact that I insulted you. I never did. That night in the show It was the wrong time and wrong aura. Nevertheless, you felt insulted."
In one of his earlier interactions with Pinkvilla, Arijit Singh was asked about the one thing that he, as a singer himself, feels is the greatest issue with musicians in Bollywood. To this, he mentioned that the aspect of getting a royalty for their own songs is something many singers still lack in Bollywood. He added that having royalty for their creation in a way makes their future secured.
