After the couple maintained a distance from each other, Arjun took to his IG handle on July 29, 2024, and shared a cryptic post on 'Patience' The post read:

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora both attended India Couture Week 2024 simultaneously. They were seen attending Kunal Rawal's show. Malaika wore an all-white ensemble with open tresses and subtle makeup for the show. On the other hand, Arjun donned a black embellished kurta with black pants. Malaika avoided looking at Arjun when he walked down the ramp, and the former couple sat at a distance, leaving the fans speculating over their relationship status.
In another video from the event, Malaika was seen walking through a crowd at the venue exit. As the actress tried to find her way out, Arjun guarded her from the mob of fans. Several netizens appreciated Arjun for his respectful behaviour towards Malaika.

They spoke fondly about each other, and their pictures went viral on different occasions. However, since 2024 sources claimed that the couple parted ways amicably. At the same time, Malaika gave Arjun's birthday party a miss and didn't wished him through social media, which reinstated the doubts.
