On his 36th birthday, Arjun Kapoor's half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor penned heartmelting wishes for him.
Son of producers, Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor had made his breakthrough in Bollywood in 2012 with the film, Ishaqzaade. It was in the same year of his debut when Arjun had lost one of the strongest pillars of his life, his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor after her long battle with cancer. Ever since their mother’s death, Arjun Kapoor and his sister, Anshula Kapoor have become each other’s support system.

In the year 2018, Boney Kapoor’s second wife, the legendary actress, Sridevi’s sudden demise had shocked the entire nation. It was Arjun, who not just stood by his father but also took care of his half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi. Arjun and Anshula not just stepped into Janhvi and Khushi’s life but also brought back the smiles they lost after Sridevi’s death.
On June 26, 2021, Arjun Kapoor turned 36 and to wish him, Janhvi Kapoor took to her IG stories and shared an adorable picture with him. Along with the picture, Janhvi wrote, "@arjunkapoor its's ur birthday!!! And your year. Thank you for teaching me so fast how much fun it is to have such a great brother.Thanks always for the gyaan but thanks more for the reality checks and food posts. Love you and enjoy" atop it with a 'Love you' sticker. On the other hand, Khushi took to her IG stories and shared a candid picture with Arjun and wrote, "HBD to u @arjunkapoor".
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Arjun had revealed that his sister, Anshula is the most important person in his life. Revealing the sacrifices made by Anshula for him after the death of their mother, Mona, Arjun had said, “She did a course in America, she graduated and she moved to India so that I don't get lonely. She looked at my life as her life. She runs the house so that I can work.”
Revealing how responsible his sister, Anshula is, Arjun had continued, “It's not easy to live without having parents around, at least one child has to be slightly responsible so that the other one can enjoy, be carefree, irresponsible and go take on the world.” He had further mentioned that Anshula has amazingly balanced his professional and personal life.

In a conversation with HT Brunch, Arjun was all praises for Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi, like a proud brother. Talking about Janhvi, Arjun had said that she is 'curious' and wants to learn a lot in life. He had also expressed that Janhvi is not at all what he had expected her to be and that she is someone, who wants to grow and learn in life.
Talking about Khushi, Arjun had stated that he likes her 'calmness.' He had also mentioned that even though Khushi is under constant attention and media glare, she manages to carry herself with 'understated confidence.' He had said, "The way she dresses and behaves, she is not trying to fit in, that's a nice quality to have, even though she has the world staring at her all the time." About his sister, Anshula, Arjun had lauded her 'straight-forward and honest' attitude.
