Armaan Kohli Looks Devastated At His Father, Rajkumar Kohli's Funeral, Sonu Nigam Comes In Support

Armaan Kohli looked heartbroken as his father, Rajkumar Kohli, who was in his early '90s, left for the heavenly abode, and the former bid him goodbye.

Bigg Boss 7 fame, Armaan Kohli's world has come crashing down after his father, Rajkumar Rao, died on November 24, 2023. His last rites were held today in Mumbai, and Sonu Nigam came in support of Armaan to perform Rajkumar Rao's funeral. For those who don't know, Rajkumar Kohli was a famous director, and he is known for directing several hit films, such as the 1966 movie, Dulla Bhatti. He also received a lot of love for directing the 1970s film Lootera.

Armaan Kohli broke down during the last rites of his father, Rajkumar Rao

On November 24, 2023, Armaan Kohli was seen in a white kurta pyjama as he performed the funeral of his father, Rajkumar. In a clip, we can see a heartbroken Armaan holding his father's Parthiv sharir (body). He wasn't able to control the flood of tears. We can also see famous singer, Sonu Nigam, who was present to support Armaan during his toughest time.

According to a report by News18, Rajkumar Kohli woke up and had gone for a shower. However, things turned serious when he didn't leave the bathroom for some time. Reportedly, Armaan Kohli had to break the door to get inside, where his father was lying on the floor. He was then rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Rajkumar Kohli is famous for directing films such as Nagin, Jani Dushman, Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi ka and many more. He had worked with famous Bollywood personalities like Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, and Shatrughan Sinha. He had even launched his son, Armaan as a leading actor with the movie, Virodhi. Later, he directed Armaan in the films, Aulad Ke Dushman and Qahar.
