Armaan Malik and his wife, Kritika Malik are accused of forgery of Rs. 80 lakh and selling a property illegally.
Armaan Malik and Kritika Mlaik have been garnering headlines for the past few weeks as they have participated in Bigg Boss OTT 3. Before that, the duo and Armaan's first wife, Payal Malik, used to do daily vlogging on their family YouTube channel. The trio are in a polygamous relationship in which a person is allowed to have more than one spouse at a time. However, this time around, Armaan and Kritika are under the radar for forgery.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we saw a woman accusing Armaan and Kritika of forgery. She revealed that Armaan and Kritika made false papers of her uncle's property and sold it off. Her uncle lives abroad, so the duo took advantage of the situation and sold his property under their name.

The woman added that Kritika signed the papers as a witness and supported her husband in the fraud. The couple sold the property for Rs. 80 lakhs, and currently, her uncle is in a legal battle with them.

In an interview with India Today, Payal revealed that Armaan has not converted to Islam to legalise his second marriage. Armaan is from a Hindu Jatt family, while Payal is from a Gujjar family, and as per the Hindu Marriage Act, a person cannot have more than one legal spouse. Talking about Armaan's second marriage, Payal added:
"I am his legal wife."
Payal further revealed that Armaan's marriage with Kritika is not legal. Quoting the Hindu Marriage Act, she added that if the first wife doesn't have an issue with her husband's second marriage, then the husband can continue with the second wife, but that doesn't legalise the marriage. Payal said:
"Kritika and Armaan ji's marriage is not legal. However, from what I know, if the first wife doesn't have an issue with her husband marrying again, it's not an issue."
