It is celebration time for television actor, Arpit Ranka and his wife, Nidhi Somani, as they embrace the parenthood journey for the second time. For the unversed, the duo was in love, and after dating a few years, they tied the knot in 2012. On September 27, 2016, Arpit and Nidhi were blessed with a baby boy, who is five years old now.
Arpit rose to fame by portraying the role of 'Duryodhana' in Shaheer Sheikh, Pooja Sharma and Saurabh Raaj Jain starrer, Mahabharat. The actor and his wife, Nidhi, also participated and showed us a glimpse of their love in Nach Baliye 7.

On October 7, 2021, Arpit and Nidhi welcomed a baby girl. The actor took to his Instagram handle and announced the happy news. Sharing a picture note, "Nanhe nanhe kadmo se maa aaye mere dwar, Navratri ke pratham din mataji ke aashirwaad se mujhe putri ka pita banne ka subhagya mila. Navratri ke shubh avsar par kanya nahi sakshat devi ke roop mein maa padhari hai." Check it out below:
In an interview with The Times of India, Arpit revealed that he could not explain the feeling of being a second-time father in words. He also shared that his wife and the baby is healthy. In a couple of days, they will be discharged from the hospital, and he cannot wait to take his little angel home.

The actor further added, "Though I never had any gender preference when it comes to children, welcoming a baby girl on the occasion of Navratra sthapana is nothing but Goddess Durga's blessing for me and my entire family."
Arpit also shared that he feels blessed to welcome a little goddess on the first day of navratri. Though the doctors had said that the expected delivery date was October 6, maybe our little girl wanted to come home during Navaratra."
On the work front, arpit was last seen in Devi Adi Parashakti.
