As per the latest reports, the NCB won't seek further custody of Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan as his lawyers will apply for bail immediately after the star kid is sent to judicial custody.
Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3, 2021, for allegedly possessing drugs. Aryan was arrested along with seven others, following a raid in a Goa-bound cruise ship. Following his arrest, the star kid was taken for further interrogation.
Aryan Khan and his two other friends, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were produced before the magistrate court, where they were remanded to be in the custody of NCB till October 4, 2021. According to various reports, the NCB had taken under custody six organisers, who had planned the party on the Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship.

Aryan Khan is represented by senior advocate, Satish Manshinde. As per the reports of India Today, the NCB has reportedly decided not to seek further custody of Aryan Khan. It is reported that his lawyers would immediately apply for his bail the moment he will be sent to judicial custody.
When the star kid appeared at the Killa court, Manshinde stated that Aryan was arrested on the basis of chats and nothing was seized from him. In his words, "However, he did not have a boarding pass. He didn't have any seats or cabins there. Secondly, according to the seizure, nothing has been found in his possession. He is arrested only based on chats." Manshinde had also fought actress, Rhea Chakraborty's case.

A report by The Times of India stated that Aryan Khan was booked for the consumption of Charas. Out of the eight arrested along with Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant is the son of a timber businessman, whereas Munmun is the daughter of a businessman from Madhya Pradesh. In a written statement, Aryan Khan had acknowledged his arrest, stating, "I understand grounds of my arrest and informed the same to my family members."
The chief of NCB, SN Pradhan told PTI that the bureau is looking for any 'Bollywood connection' following the arrest of Aryan. Revealing that their focus is on a larger narcotics nexus, Pradhan retorted, "There is a Bollywood connection and we are investigating all angles of the case. We are looking at the main supplier and the entire cartel behind this drugs case."
