The name Ashneer Grover is not just restricted to the business world anymore. The BharatPe co-founder made headlines after his appearance as a judge in the reality show, Shark Tank India season 1. Popular for his unfiltered opinions, Ashneer was one of the most popular sharks in the show. The entrepreneur is in the news again, and this time for his new startup, Third Unicorn.
On January 10, 2022, Ashneer shared details of his new venture on his LinkedIn profile and the various benefits to be expected from the same. Not just this, in one of the slide shows, he also highlighted the employees would get a Mercedes after completing 5 years in the organisation. His LinkedIn post can be read as:
“Let's get some work done in 2023!" He added, "We at Third Unicorn have been quietly and peacefully building a market-shaking business. Bootstrapped. Without limelight. And we are doing things differently. Very differently.”

It was on his 40th birthday in June 2022, when the former Shark, Ashneer Grover announced the news of his new start-up, Third Unicorn. His post could be read as:
“Today I turn 40. Some will say I've lived a full life and experienced more things than most. Created value for generations. For me, it's still unfinished business. Time to disrupt another sector. It's time for the Third Unicorn.”
Ashneer co-founded BharatPe in 2018 and has also invested in many start-ups. He has always garnered a lot of limelight for his controversies. He was in the news in March 2022 after he resigned from his position at BharatPe, after a clash with the board members. As per reports, Ashneer and his wife, Madhuri Jain were stripped from all their positions after an external audit revealed their financial misdeeds. The report also stated that the duo had led a lavish lifestyle and often used the company's funds for the same.

On November 11, 2022, Ashneer Grover introduced his autobiography on his Twitter handle. The entrepreneur who used famous one-liners in the reality show, Shark Tank India titled his book ‘Doglapan’, which was also one of his famous lines in the show. After introducing his book, Ashneer also shared a witty tweet with his followers, which could be read as:
“Is kitab (ko) padhne ke baad ya to aap ek dum apni naukri chhod doge ya fir zindagi bhar naukri hi karoge. At least beech mein nahi phase rahoge.”
