Ashneer Grover in a podcast talked about problematic middle-class behaviours and critiqued them. Surprisingly instead of getting trolled he get massive support from netizens.
Ashneer Grover, the co-founder and former managing director of BharatPe, rose to immense stardom with his role in the first season of Shark Tank India. As one of the judges and investors, his logical roasting of the pitchers was not just a hit but a source of entertainment for the show's viewers. However, his fallout with BharatPe led to his exclusion from the next season.
But as life had its way with a few twists and turns of events, Ashneer jumped back to business and launched CricPay and ZeroPe under his new company, Third Unicorn. Ashneer has been very vocal about his life choices and doesnt shy away from calling a spade a spade. Recently, a video of him has been making rounds on the internet where he is critiquing middle-class mentality, and surprisingly, he is not getting trolled for the same.
Ashneer Grover appeared on Ishan Sharma's podcast a few months back, where he shared that people love to judge others in India. He added that, people ask others to refrain from flaunting money even if it is hard-earned. He has seen an issue with when people pass comments on how he should lead his life; Ashneer added that he disagrees with such a mindset.
Ashneer added that people in the middle class have been moulded in such a way that their brains are trained to be submissive. These causes are inculcated so that they don't become disappointed when failure hits them. However, this is toxic, as people don't get to enjoy life to the fullest with such a mindset and even castrate other people's happiness who want to spend money.
In the current virtual world, people don't waste a minute trolling someone, but surprisingly, Ashneer Grover's opinions were not met with much opposition. In fact, on the contrary, people aligned with his opinions. A user wrote, "100% truth - "India is a country where other than judges, everyone passes their judgement." While another netizen commented, "He is not wrong."
