Late actor, Atul Parchure's wife, Sonia Parchure, once reportedly talked about how she felt when the actor was diagnosed with cancer and how the treatment affected his voice.
Famous actor, Atul Parchure bid farewell to this world on October 14, 2024, after battling cancer. The actor got to know about his liver cancer while celebrating his 25 wedding anniversary with his wife Sonia during an international trip. Not many details about Atul's situation are known, but it was reported that the actor was admitted to the hospital five days ago. On October 15, 2024, his last rites were performed, and several actors from the industry arrived there to pay respect.
Cancer is a life-threatening condition, and the victims of it require constant mental support. For Atul, it was his wife, Sonia, who stood like a strong pillar of strength for her husband. As Atul left for his heavenly abode, an interview of his wife, Sonia, had been doing rounds, wherein she reportedly talked about her husband's condition.
As per several reports, Sonia Parchure, a few days ago, appeared for an interview on a YouTube show, wherein she talked about her husband's battle with cancer and her situation through the same. The actress shared that she was feeling completely helpless in this situation. Sonia further mentioned that if a person deals with a grave illness, and then receives support from their loved ones, it gives that person the strength to fight back.
In the same interview, Sonia Parchure further stated the condition that Atul was in. She said that voice is the most important thing for an artist, and when Atul was undergoing treatment for cancer, it somehow affected his voice. Sonia mentioned that she consulted the doctors about the same, and they asked her to understand the actor's situation. She shared that seeing her husband in such a condition made her think how she could bring him out of it. Sonia can be quoted as saying:
"Seeing Atul’s condition at that time, I kept thinking how can I get him out of this.”
Sonia Parchure shared that people showered love upon the actor, Atul Parchure when he was battling cancer. Not only the fans and well-wishers of the actor showered him with love and blessings, but also they visited holy places like Somnath and Girnar out of their immense love and respect for the actor.
Sonia Parchure was a famous actress who worked in several Marathi plays. Her most notable work was Aakka. Well, Sonia left acting after marrying Atul and pursued her career in Kathak. She not only choreographed several movies and plays but also founded her own academy, Sharayu Nritya Kalamandir, where she trained several dancers. The way Sonia supported her husband, believed in him, and managed his finances when he was dealing with a tough phase, proves that she was a dedicated wife to Atul.
