The recent burglary episode proves that Saif is an actual king, who knows how to fight to keep his family safe. Now, the auto-driver revealed the whole incident, which happened with the actor.
Saif Ali Khan proved he is a hero in real life as he bravely fought with an intruder who held a knife. In the wee hours of January 16, 2025, an unknown person broke into Saif and Kareena's home, and to save his family, Saif suffered a serious knife stabbing. While the entire nation was praying for his safety, the auto driver revealed what had happened that night.
It is definitely a shocking incident that an intruder entered a celebrity's home, and left the actor severely injured. However, Saif and his family put on a strong face to fight these difficult times. The 47-year-old auto-driver spoke to ABP News and recalled the horrifying moment and being a witness to the high-profile attack. He revealed that a lady screamed for help when he was driving in the upscale Bandra. He didn't have any idea that the victim was Saif Ali Khan and thought it to be a normal fight between some people.
However, he realised the gravity of the situation when Saif Ali Khan himself walked towards his vehicle. The auto-driver confirmed that a small child (Taimur) was with him. He said:
"He walked towards me himself; a small child was with him. He was in an injured state, and I just had to get him to the hospital quickly. We reached hospital in eight to ten minutes."
The auto-driver revealed the state of Saif Ali Khan and how his white kurta had turned completely red with the blood stain. He had an injury on the neck.
"Blood nikal raha tha gardan se nikal raha tha, peeche laga tha, safed kurta pura laal hogya tha."
Further, the reporter asked if Saif's son was scared seeing the whole incident or if he was normal. To this, the auto-driver claimed that the child was absolutely normal and they were even conversing. He wasn't scared at all.
Saif's strength is shown in the way he kept himself composed despite knowing the urgency of the situation. The auto-driver revealed that Saif was resting on the window side of the auto, and he didn't take the help of anyone and walked on his own inside the hospital.
Dr. Niraj Uttaamani, the COO of Lilavati Hospital, called Saif 'a hero' while addressing the media. He revealed that Saif can walk, and there is no chance of paralysis. The doctor revealed that Saif was fortunate that he got saved by an inch. The knife injury was just 2 mm away from his spine.
The doctor revealed that Saif came to the hospital covered in blood. However, Saif didn't take the help of a stretcher; instead, he came walking in with his little son. The doctor was quoted as saying:
"Bahut boldly behave kare hai vo khud itna injuries ke sath chota bache ke sath apna khud walk-in aaye hai. He didn't even take the stretcher."
