Avinash Mishra Criticises Shalini For Being On 'Bigg Boss 18' And Saying Watching TV Is A Time Waste

'Bigg Boss 18's Avinash Mishra criticised Shalini Passi for her appearance on the show after she claimed watching television to be a waste of time.

Shalini Passi rose to fame with her stint in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. She left everyone in awe with her gorgeousness, innocence, bold nature, soft voice, and more. Her love for art knows no bounds, and similarly, her fans' admiration for her. Recently, Shalini graced Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 18, seemingly as a guest. Well, it was BB18's Avinash Mishra who criticised Shalini Passi for her appearance on the controversial show as she claimed that she doesn't watch television.

Shalini Passi reveals that she feels watching TV to be a waste of time

In a conversation with Shalini Passi, Avinash Mishra asked her if she has watched this season's Bigg Boss. To this, Shalini added that she doesn't watch TV. When she was further asked if she watches movies or films, Shalini shared that she isn't fond of watching TV, and even if she has to watch the news, she just reads them on Apps rather than switching on the TV. Shalini further stated that she has a whole lot of work to do, and thus, she feels that she should focus on her work rather than witnessing others' works. In Shalini's words:

"Mera kaam itna ho jaata hai ki jab television on hota hai na toh mera mind kahin aur chale jaata hai. Mujhe lagta hai ki dusre ke kaam dekhne se, jo bhi thoda bahut apna kar rahi hun woh karu."

Avinash Mishra criticises Shalini Passi's appearance on Bigg Boss 18 after she that she doesn't watch television

Avinash Mishra was later talking to Tajinder Bagga and Vivian Dsena, when he questioned Shalini Passi's arrival on the show. Avinash stated how Shalini added that watching TV is a waste of time, and remarked that her first show, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives telecasted on TV only. He further added that Bigg Boss is also India's biggest reality show, which was graced by Shalini who claimed that watching TV is a waste of time. Avinash then said that if someone doesn't like reading books, then why that person would go to a bookstore, and similarly if someone doesn't like watching TV, then why did she come on the shows? In Avinash's words:

"Boli wo television nahi dekhti hai, mere liye wastage of time hai. Iske pehle jo aapne kiya wo TV pe hi kiya tha. Abhi aap yahan aayi hain jo India ka sabse bada reality show jo ki television pe hi aata hai. If I find reading books a waste of time, should I go to the bookstore? If I find watching television a waste of time, then why should I go to television?"

Shalini Passi shared that she had a phobia of being in front of the cameras

In a promo video from Bigg Boss 18, Shalini Passi looked gorgeous as she slipped into a red dress. Well, the gorgeousness mentioned that her friends used to joke that the philanthropist should be in the Bigg Boss house and be the leader there while giving others lessons about discipline. Shalini further added that since 2018, she had a phobia of being in front of the cameras. She also remarked that she would tell if she felt someone is wrong somewhere in the Bigg Boss 18 house.

Shalini Passi's personal life

Shalini Passi got married to industrialist, Sanjay Passi when she was in her 20s. It was an arranged marriage. Talking about her marriage with Sanajy, Shalini, in an interview with Brut, revealed that some girls gatecrashed her friend's sister's wedding to fix her marriage with Sanjay. Sanjay and Shalini have a son, who is now 21 years old, and his name is Robin Passi.
