Recently, in an interview, Ayaan Agnihotri talked about his dynamic with his three famous uncles, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arbaaz Khan.
Salman Khan’s nephew, Ayaan Agnihotri, aka Agni, is stepping into the limelight with his debut single, Universal Laws. The song was recently launched in an event in Dubai, attended by the Khan family, including his uncles, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, along with Helen, Uma, Salma Khan, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi.
Recently, in a chat with News18 Showsha, Ayaan shared insights into his relationship with his three famous uncles, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan. Describing the relationship as ‘very healthy’ Ayaan shared how he found a father figure in Sohail Khan, calling him ‘fun-loving’ and deeply involved in his childhood. He said:
“We have very healthy relationships. I have a healthy relationship with each of them. Growing up, Sohail mamu was like a second father. He spent a lot of time with us kids – me, Arhaan and Nirvaan. He used to take us on holidays and look after us. He’s very fun-loving and light-hearted. He’s very fun to be around.”
Talking about his other mamu, Arbaaz Khan, Ayaan shared that he was different from Sohail, as in, he had a mix of humor and discipline, earning Ayaan’s respect as the ‘strict’ uncle out of the three. In Ayaan’s words:
“Arbaaz mamu has his humour and even a little bit of strictness. The dynamic with him is like… if we have done something wrong, we can still have a fun time together.”
However, it was Salman Khan who stood out as the ultimate prankster — someone who would joke around, pull pranks, and even ‘scare’ him at times. Describing his dynamic with his superstar mamu, Ayaan shared:
“Salman mamu, he’s a jokester. He’s really funny. He’s the one who will pull your leg, prank you and scare you at times. All of them have a playful nature. They are childlike at heart."
Despite his playful side, Salman also gave Ayaan crucial advice. Salman’s advice to Ayaan was, “Don’t care about what people think, do exactly what you want to do."
Salman Khan never misses a chance to entertain fans with his quick wit and humorous responses. When he visited Dubai to promote Ayaan’s latest track, it was no different. In a video clip from the event that surfaced on social media, Bhaijaan left everyone in splits when the event’s host, Kris Fade praised Salman and his family for backing Ayaan’s career, and ge humorously remarked, “That’s what nepotism is!”
Ayaan’s Universal Laws, which dropped on February 20, is a powerful blend of rap and hard-hitting lyrics, exploring ambition and self-discovery. Produced by Aditya Dev, the track is a reflection of Ayaan’s artistic vision and has already created buzz among music lovers.
