In 2012, Ayushmann Khurrana had made his way in our hearts by strumming the guitar for Paani Da Rang and blurred the fine line between conventional and unconventional films. He walked in as a fresh breath of air and set a new benchmark for existing mainstream and aspiring actors. Over the years, Ayushmann had not only proved his mettle as an actor but also swooned us with his singing, dancing, anchoring and whatnot. Adding another feather to his cap of many talents, Ayushmann Khurrana not only loves writing songs, but also pens down poems and couplets. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced ‘Janta Curfew’ and expressing his views on the same, Ayushmann had penned a poem. Ayushmann had recited the poem on his balcony, which loosely translates to, “Toh aaj merey pass koi shabd nhi hai, Aaj koi kavita uplabdh nahi hai. In taliyo ki goonj aur shankh naad, 5 minute k liye kardiya is band saamar-usthalabad. Aaj shehar ka pradooshan AQI par 50 hai, Yahan k pashu-pakshi pehle se zyada khush mijaaz hai. Sabhi chikitsako aur doctaro ko shat-shat pranaam hai, Is bimari ko ladney me kya Hindu kya Musalmaan hai. Aaj desh ka manushya lockdown se utna hat-prabh nhi hai, Aaj merey pass koi shabdh nhi hai, aaj koi kavita uplabdh nahi hai.”
Now, Ayushmann Khurrana has penned down a poem and dedicated it to ‘frontline warriors’. Ayushmann began his poem by highlighting the plight of a shop owner, and people residing in the buildings, which have been sealed amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis. He wrote, “Humko toh sirf ghar pe rehna hai. Woh saamne waali building kuch din pehle seal ho gayi. Aur tab se aas pados ke logon ki zindagi thodi tabdeel ho gayi. Ussi building ke neeche waali dukaan se toh ghar ka samaan aata tha. Woh bimaari ke baare mein pehle bata deta toh kya jaata tha. Aaj hum dare hue hain. Jeevit hain par mare hue hain. Aaj lagta hai kaash kar dein sab kuch theek is duniya ko karke rewind. But believe me this is nothing but the collective karma of mankind.”
Saluting the spirit of people, who are working hard to ensure essential services reach the citizens, Ayushmann Khurrana continued, “Salaam hai usko jo sadkein saaf karta hai, kachra le kar jaata hai, ghar ka saamaan le kar aata hai. Aur phir apne ghar jaata hai. Par humne unko kabhi izzat dee hee nahi. Hum paise waale hain. Humare baap ka kya jaata hai. Aur woh bechaara darta hai ki coronavirus uske parivaar ko na ho jaaye. Woh apne chote bachche ko choo nahi paata hai. Yeh ameer gareeb ka insaaniyat se pare ka naata hai. Is desh ko gareeb hee chalata tha. Gareeb hee chalayega. Humein is samay bhi sab suvidhaaen gareeb hee dilaayega.” (Also Read: Sunny Leone Reveals The First Thing She Will Do When Lockdown Ends And Every Mother Can Relate To It) Urging people to give respect to the frontline warriors once this is over, Ayushmann Khurrana concluded, “Ab jab sab theek ho jaayega toh in logon ko izzat dena. Koi kaam chota nahi hota yeh baat apne palle baandh lena. Aaj doctor nurses, police, humaare security gaurd hain sabse zyaada kaam ke. Hum sab Bollywood hero hain bas naam ke. Hum bas paise de sakte hain. Hathiyaar de sakte hain. Ladhna unko hai. Unhi ko sab kuch sehna hai. Humko toh sirf ghar pe rehna hai. Humko toh sirf ghar pe rehna hai.” While a lot of celebs lauded Ayushmann for his beautifully written poem, his wife, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana too, couldn’t resist herself from sending an array of hearts on her hubby’s post. Amid the COVID-19 lockdown, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap Khurrana had a perfect way to pass their time at home with their kids, Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana. Ayushmann and Tahira had passed their quarantine time with kids, Virajveer and Varushka, by engaging in a painting session. While Ayushmann had shared the glimpses of their painting night through Instagram stories, Tahira had posted a picture of all the four paintings and had captioned it, “Art at home! Four of us painted together after a long time, guess who has made which painting! Also a reason to post this is to plead with all the parents to maintain safety and one way of doing that is to understand why schools and public places have been shut. Let’s not encourage group classes where coaches and teachers come home to teach. The purpose is being forfeited. Let’s please stay at home and contribute to containing the virus to the best of our capabilities.” (Also Read: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's Mother-In-Law Is All Praises For Her Cooking But Has A Relatable Query For Her) Due to COVID-19, life in countries across the world is changing drastically!ADVERTISEMENT
