Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12, 2024. While the reason for the same is unknown, two culprits were detained in close connection to the incident. From the politician's family members to his friends from the industry, everyone is utterly shocked in this tough time. For the uninitiated, Baba Siddique was a state minister of Maharastra, and he was also known for his socialite image.
Baba Siddique's grand iftar parties often used to grab a lot of attention. Well, it was one of his iftar parties, when two Khans of Bollywood Salman and Shah Rukh, reunited, ending their feud. Once, Shah Rukh talked about his friendship with Baba Siddique. During a chat of SRK with the team of AIB, possibly a slight dig was taken at the famous incident when the former reunited with Salman at Baba Siddique's party. Shah Rukh was asked if he gets worried about passing by Baba Siddique's residence, fearing about the politician's hugs.
Known for his quirky responses mixed with a whole lot of wit, Shah Rukh gave an adorable reply to the same. Shah Rukh, in reply, revealed that Baba Siddique is his friend, and he meets him on a regular basis. He also humorously added that he doesn't want to be surprised by Baba Siddique's unplanned meetups. Thus, he plans them. He also mentioned that Baba Siddique's hugs are best when they are planned. In Shah Rukh's words:
"I have to tell you this, that Baba Siddique is my friend, and I regularly meet him for the hugs. I don’t want to be accosted or taken by surprise, so I plan it! I plan it on Eid. I am always there, and nights during Ramzan. I want to tell you that Baba Siddique’s hugs are the best when planned."

Well, it was in 2013 when at Baba Siddique's Iftar party, Salman and Shah Rukh ended their long feud and hugged each other, and it remained as a testament to their long-lasting friendship, courtesy to Baba Siddique.
Salman Khan's life has been under threat for several reasons from the Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. Now, as Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12, 2024, questions about the Lawrence Bishnoi gang's involvement in the same arose. Well, as per the police, two culprits were arrested, and the investigation to seize another one is underway. As per police, one of the culprits is from Haryana, while the other one is from Uttar Pradesh. While not much about the same incident is known, sources claimed that the suspects of Baba Siddique's murder case belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
On the other hand, Baba Siddique shared a close bond with Salman Khan. The politician reportedly helped the actor whenever he needed support, on the other hand, Salman, too, was very close to the politician and his family members. As per reports, the actor left his work midway and rushed to the hospital to meet Baba Siddique's family after he was brutally killed.
