On December 1, 2019, Babita Phogat and Vivek Suhag had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony. As per a DBPost report, Vivek and Babita’s wedding had only 21 baraatis and the duo had taken one extra phera i.e., the eighth phera which they had dedicated to the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative. Since their wedding, the duo has been sharing adorable pictures on their respective social media handles, giving major couple goals.
Babita Phogat and Vivek Suhag celebrated their first festival post their wedding with much joy. On January 13, 2020, Babita took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture with her hubby, Vivek Suhag from their first Lohri post-wedding. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Happy Lohri.” Babita looked beautiful in a red suit and she teamed her attire with an orange dupatta. While keeping her hair open, she complemented her look with a red bindi and red lipstick. On the other hand, her husband, Vivek twinned with her in a red T-shirt and also donned a black leather jacket on top of it. Both Vivek and Babita looked like made for each other as they posed together.
On December 4, 2019, Babita had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a couple of pictures with a new car, gifted to her by her husband, Vivek. In the pictures, we could see Babita had donned an orange colour ensemble and had radiated the newbie bridal glow. Alongside it, she had written, "What better than a new awesome car to start our new journey together. thank you @suhagvivek for this awesome and considerate gift." Take a look at the pictures below:

On the other hand, Vivek had looked dapper in a beige colour sherwani and safa. What caught our attention was Babita’s red lehenga, which was exactly the same as the one worn by Priyanka Chopra Jonas on her wedding. In an interview with The Indian Express, Vivek Suhag had shared that participating in Nach Baliye 9 was a surprise to him by Babita Phogat. He had shared, “I had no clue about it. Babita finalised everything and then surprised me with the contract. Since it’s such a big platform and we both enjoy dancing, I was more than happy to take it up.” Though the duo couldn't reach the finals, their stunning performances had won many hearts.
Talking to The Times of India, Babita Phogat had revealed how she had met Vivek Suhag and how love happened between the two. Babita had shared, “It was an event for wrestlers at a hotel in Delhi where we first met. Bas wahan dosti ho gayi. We stayed in touch and in time, we realised that we liked each other. I like how he is very straightforward but still respects others.” She had also revealed that Vivek was nervous at the very thought of talking to her father, Mahavir Phogat about their relationship. She was quoted as saying, “Senior hain woh kaafi aur unki reputation bhi hai.
