Rajkummar Rao is busy promoting his upcoming film, 'Badhaai Do', and in his recent interview, he opened up about the impact of his marriage with Patralekhaa Paul on his life. Find out!
One of the most talented husband-wife duos of the Bollywood industry, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa Paul, have been in a relationship for almost a decade. The madly in love couple had got married on November 15, 2021, in a dreamy wedding. Giving major couple goals, the two actors had gone through many ups and downs in their careers and personal lives in recent years. But none of them has ever left each other's side, even for once.
After being featured as a couple in the film, CityLights, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa had worked together in the web series, Bose: Dead/Alive. And there are chances that we will get to see this adorable couple reuniting on-screen in the near future. However, at the moment, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa are breaking headlines every now and then with their romantic pictures and videos on their respective social media handles.

In an interview with ETimes, Rajkummar Rao opened up about the impact of his marriage on his life and how his then-girlfriend, now-wife, Patralekhaa Paul changed his outlook towards everything. Heaping immense love and admiration for his wife, the doting husband clearly stated that he feels complete now after he had got married to the love of his life, Patralekhaa. Calling it a beautiful feeling, Rajkummar said:
"It's a beautiful feeling. I am so elated to be married to Patralekhaa. She is my best friend, the love of my life, my family and my everything. Something changes on a subconscious level. I feel more complete now."
Going further in the interview, Rajkummar Rao was also asked to reveal the one prime reason that convinced them to take the plunge finally in 2021, after all these years of courtship. Answering this, the actor credited lockdowns and stated that after spending so much time together in those scary moments, they were convinced that they could live together for the rest of their lives. An elated actor said:
"As you rightly said, we have been living in for a while now. I would always be out shooting, and she would be out for her shoots. The last two years, which included the lockdowns, was the time we could spend with each other. At that point, we thought that when we are so sure of spending the rest of our lives together, let's just do this."

In the same interview, Rajkummar Rao also shared how he loves calling Patralekhaa Paul by the title 'wife'. The actor explained that both he and Patralekhaa are still in the hangover of their wedding and are coming to terms with this new big change in their relationship slowly and steadily. Reflecting on the idea of treating each other as 'husband and wife', he stated:
"We are still getting used to the idea of being husband and wife. I love calling her wife now, just for fun, though."
At the end of his conversation, Rajkummar Rao also addressed his wife, Patralekhaa Paul's famous interview in which she had revealed that he loves watching movies alone in theatres and eating pani-puri solo. Reflecting on his wife's statement about him, the actor confirmed that those secrets about him are real, and he does it when Patralekhaa isn't in the town. He said:
"Yes, I do that, especially if I am out of town and Patra is not around. Even recently, when I shot in Lucknow, whenever we had our day off, I would go out and watch movies alone. I like that."
On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen next in the much-awaited film, Badhaai Do!
