Badshah was recently invited to perform at Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat. A video from the electrifying concert has now taken social media to storm, wherein the rapper is seen giving a shoutout to Samay Raina. Towards the end of his performance, Badshah was heard saying:

After Badshah’s shoutout to Samay, the audience present at the concert exploded with cheers in support of the rapper. His statement comes at a time when Samay Raina has been facing severe backlash following a controversial joke made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his show India’s Got Latent. As soon as the video surfaced online, it set social media abuzz, with netizens resharing the clip on their respective handles. One user took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Ain’t no way Badshah just said ‘Free Samay Raina’ at the concert! LFG!!!”

Ranveer’s question was:

"Would you rather watch your parents have s** for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?"

Samay Raina responds to the backlash

In response to the growing backlash, Samay Raina deleted all India’s Got Latent videos from his YouTube channel and issued a statement, expressing that the situation had become ‘too much to handle’. The YouTuber’s statement, which he uploaded on his social media handles, read:

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly."
