Recently, rapper, Badshah dropped a cryptic post on Instagram, and it seems to be advice directed at AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh, who are currently wrapped up in a feud with each other.
Punjabi artists, Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon have become embroiled in a very public spat. The two have been taking shots at each other at concerts and via social media. The feud started when AP accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram while publicly announcing his support for the Wo Noor singer. This prompted the latter to hit back with a cryptic post followed by proof that he had never blocked AP. Since then, the artists have been going back and forth, with fans getting involved to show alleged evidence on behalf of their favorite artists as well. In the midst of it all, Badshah dropped a cryptic note, seemingly addressing the feud.
As tensions between AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh continue to rise, Badshah has stepped into the mix with some words of wisdom. The rapper, whose long-standing feud with fellow rapper, Honey Singh was well-known, took to his Instagram story with a cryptic post seemingly about the ongoing war between AP and Diljit. Penning a short but impactful note about remaining united, Badshah wrote:
"Please don't make the same mistakes we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like the say, 'if you wanna go fast, go alone but if you wanna go far, go together.' United we stand."
Following AP Dhillon's claim that Diljit Dosanjh professed that they were 'together' but actually blocked him on Instagram, the latter hit back at him with a note and proof of his innocence via his IG stories. Cryptically addressing AP, Diljit stated that the only person he answered to only one person and that was his mom. The Lemonade singer followed up this story with another, proving he hadn't blocked AP. This story featured a screenshot of the latter's profile, clearly showing he wasn't blocked. Diljit further penned under the screengrab that all his tiffs were with the government and never with another artist.
Well, AP, seemingly unwilling to back down, took to his own IG story to share a screen recording of his inability to access Diljit's profile earlier. Further in the story, it was seen that after he went public with the news about Diljit blocking him, he was able to see the latter's profile again. AP, too, shared a cryptic note following this fiasco about how he wasn't going to say anything because he would get hate, but at least now everyone knew what was real and what wasn't.
Badshah's advice to AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh comes from a place of experience, given his own feud with Honey Singh that lasted over a decade. In fact, only in May 2024 did the Morni rapper express his desire to quash the beef that had begun due to several misunderstandings. Wishing Honey Singh the very best and wishing to leave the past behind, Badshah paused his show mid-way and said:
"There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one, and now I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind – and that's Honey Singh. I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding but then I realized when we were together Today, I just want to let everyone know I've left that phase behind and I wish him all the best."
