Badshah recently wore a unique black wrinkled coat to an award show. His look has gone viral, and netizens compared his look to that of a raincoat and scooter cover.
Badshah has changed the face of rap in India. When the singer was pursuing his higher education, he was exposed to Punjabi music at college. He went on to make some of the best albums in India and memorable hits like Tareefan, Let's Nacho, Garmi, Akh Lad Jave and more. Besides his songs, Badshah is known for his fashion, wearing vibrant and branded apparel. However, the singer was recently trolled for his distinct outfit choice for an event.
A couple of days ago, GQ Best Dressed awards were held. Given the fashion theme of the event, celebs arrived in unique outfits showcasing their style. From Bhumi's handcrafted glass and brass armour to Nancy Tyagi's embellished black gown, we had a lot of awe-inspiring moments during the event. Among them, Badshah's outfit created a lot of noise. The singer, who usually keeps it chic and stylish, experimented with a new look for the day.
Badshah arrived at the award show wearing a long, black, wrinkled coat with loose black trousers. He paired it with a orange patterned shirt that was left untucked. The look was completed with a black scarf with a white printed design that the singer wrapped around his neck in style. He wore his statement sunglasses with a messy hairstyle. Badshah wore a pair of expensive white shoes with it.
Trolls don't shy away from sharing straightforward opinions on celebs' fashion. This time, Badshah bore the brunt of wearing a unique outfit. As the video and photos of the rapper went viral, netizens were left in shock. They quickly began comparing his look with items like a raincoat, scooter cover and even a garbage bag. One user wrote, "What is that in the old scooty cover in the storeroom?" Another user wrote, "Raincoat lag raha hai bhai", with two laughing emojis.
Some netizens confused him with Jacky Shroff and wrote, "I thought he was Bhidu for a second", and others failed to recognise him, writing, "Who is this?" The trolls had a field day commenting on the outfit as a user penned," Lagta hai jaldi jaldi mein pess karna hi bhul gayi." A few netizens called out fashion police to review the outfit and wrote, "Where is Diet Sabya when he need him."
Badshah had a busy schedule this year, working on a few songs in films like Crew and Ishq Vishk Rebound. The rapper has started shooting as a new judge for the new season of Indian Idol. He will co-judge the show with Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal.
