Samir Soni has been in the entertainment industry for many years now. From Parichay to Baghban, he has worked in many films and has carved his own path in Bollywood. But he couldn't make it to the top to be the 'hero'. The Bollywood actor has turned into an author by publishing his first memoir, My Experiments With Silence: The Diary of an Introvert.
Not only even his professional life, but even his personal life wasn't too smooth. Samir Soni was married to his ex-wife, Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar, before tying the knot with his current wife and Bollywood actress, Neelam Kothari. For the unversed, Samir Soni and Neelami Kothari had got married in 2011.

Recently, in an interview with Times Now, the actor-turned-author opened up about his first marriage with his ex-wife, Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar. Talking about the same, the actor revealed that he had learnt a few lessons from his old relationship and marriage. He even mentioned that he knew his ex-wife only for three months before the marriage. In his words:
"Don't jump into anything too soon and don't jump out of it too soon. Because you got to give it time and we did not. Once you kind of fall in love, you think everything should be hunky-dory but living together is tough and you don't know what things will be like. We knew each other only for three months really."
Further going into the conversation, the actor shared that the night they had decided to part their ways was the night of his debut film, China Gate. He added that most of the portions he had shot for the movie didn't make it to the film. He said:
"That’s a night I can never forget in my life. It was a double whammy for me. In my personal life, I felt like I had failed because I was not keen on the divorce. I thought we could have given it more time because we were just married for six months, so you kind of interpret that as a failure on your part."

But, now the actor is happily married to Hum Saath Saath Hai actress, Neelam Kothari. They are blessed with a baby girl, Ahana, whom they had adopted after two years of their marriage in 2013.
On the work front, Samir Soni was last seen in a few glimpses of the OTT show, Fabulous Lives Of The Bollywood Wives, with his wife, Neelam Kothari.
