Barkha Bisht revealed ex-husband, Indraneil Sengupta is absent from their daughter's life and they are not co-parenting her at all.
Barkha Bisht has been through a lot, and it shows her tell-all-tale interview with Siddharth Kannan. After four years of divorce, Barkha for the first time opened up about her ex-husband, Indraneil Sengupta's cheating. She claimed that she gave her marriage another chance, but it was Indraneil who walked away. When it comes to co-parenting their daughter, Meira, Barkha shared that Indraneil is absent from her life too.
Recently, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha was questioned how co-parenting with Indraneil is going on. To this, Barkha stated that they are not co-parenting their daughter at all. She stated that Indraneil has been absent from their daughter's life, and she doesn't even miss him. Talking about it, Barkha said:
"No, we are not co-parenting at all. Uhmm, I think, unfortunately, vo gayab hai Meira ki life she and she is also quite okay with it. Ab kafio ko lagega ki mai nahi chahti ki mera bacha ab usse baat kare. But I am one person, who still has a lot of love for Indraneil, I won't say respect but a lot of love for him. We have spent beautiful 15 years of my life with him. Uhm mai kabhi nahi chahti thi ki unka or unki beti ka rishta kharab ho. So I have never stopped her."
After almost four years of separation, Barkha Saha first time opened up about rumours about of Indraneil's extramarital affair with Ishaa Saha. She stated that she had confronted Indraneil about it, but his response was not satisfying. Further, Barkha said:
"Indraneil made a choice—maybe he can justify it now. He can give a hundred reasons, as he has to justify his actions."
Barkha broke down and revealed that her heart was broken into pieces, and it felt like physical pain. Her belief in humanity broke. She claimed that it is the worse thing a man can do is to break a woman's trust. She said:
"Jo dil ka tootna kehte hain—heartache—I felt it. It feels like physical pain. It was an experience I had to go through. My belief in humanity broke at that time, not my faith in marriage or love and it is still somewhere broken. The worst thing you can do to a woman is break her trust because she cannot take betrayal."
