Barkha Bisht talked for the first time about her broken marriage with Indraneil Sengupta and how he has not been in touch with their daughter, Meira. She also talked about her ex-in-laws!
Barkha Bisht has been through a lot ever since her fifteen-year-long marriage broke off. It took her four years to come to terms with the fact that it wasn't her fault that her marriage with Indraneil Sengupta ended, but a series of choices her ex-husband made, which ended up in divorce. Recently, in a hearty conversation, Barkha, for the first time, talked about the excruciating pain she went through after her separation. She also revealed how her ex-in-laws severed contact after her separation from Indraneil.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha Bisht was questioned if she was still in touch with her in-laws. Barkha denied this and stated that they never contacted her. Later, when the interviewer asked her if they were in touch with Meira, she denied it. Sharing her innermost feelings and whether her in-laws were maintaining a distance, Barkha said:
"Yeah, yeah, I don't know why, though. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki kuch rishte nahi workout karte, but jo rishta tha vo kaise gayab ho jata hai vo mai smjh nai paayi hoon abi tak ki apka ek rishta tha, I was a wife, kisi ki daughter-in-law thi 15 saal. Vo rishta jo achanak se gayab ho gaya na, I am very surprised about that, and that is something I didn't expect."
Recently, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha was questioned how co-parenting with Indraneil is going on. To this, Barkha stated that they are not co-parenting their daughter at all. She stated that Indraneil has been absent from their daughter's life, and she doesn't even miss him. Talking about it, Barkha said:
"No, we are not co-parenting at all. Uhmm, I think, unfortunately, vo gayab hai Meira ki life she and she is also quite okay with it. Ab kafio ko lagega ki mai nahi chahti ki mera bacha ab usse baat kare. But I am one person, who still has a lot of love for Indraneil, I won't say respect but a lot of love for him. We have spent beautiful 15 years of my life with him. Uhm mai kabhi nahi chahti thi ki unka or unki beti ka rishta kharab ho. So I have never stopped her."
After almost four years of separation, Barkha Saha first time opened up about rumours about of Indraneil's extramarital affair with Ishaa Saha. She stated that she had confronted Indraneil about it, but his response was not satisfying. Further, Barkha said:
"Indraneil made a choice—maybe he can justify it now. He can give a hundred reasons, as he has to justify his actions."
Barkha broke down and revealed that her heart was broken into pieces, and it felt like physical pain. Her belief in humanity broke. She claimed that it is the worst thing a man can do is to break a woman's trust.
