The popular YouTuber, Elvish Yadav, garnered immense popularity after he won the second season of the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT. He is known for inviting trouble and has been called out by celebrities for his remarks. The social media personality landed in deep trouble when a video of him went viral on the internet. In the clip, Elvish was seen slapping a man while he was at a restaurant in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Anurag Dobhal supports Elvish Yadav after the latter’s video slapping a man went viral

The recent video featuring Elvish has caused quite a stir in the media and sparked debates and discussions on the same. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 17 participant, Anurag Dobhal has extended his support to the BB OTT 2 winner. On February 12, 2024, Anurag took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to lend his support to his friend. He posted that if someone is insulting their family, especially their mother, then getting slapped is justified. Anurag wrote:

“Kisi ki maa ko gaali doge toh maar hi kahoge. Asking for selfies is okay but bypassing derogatory comments for someone's family is not acceptable. Full support @ElvishYadav bhai.”

Anurag Dobhal and Elvish Yadav became friends while the former was inside the Bigg Boss 17 house

Anurag and Elvish became friends while the former was inside the recently concluded reality show, Bigg Boss 17. During his tough time on the show, Elvish supported Anurag and encouraged his fans to vote for him. After the show ended, Anurag expressed his gratitude towards Elvish with a tweet. The two even met and shared a reel with their fans.

When Elvish Yadav slapped a man inside a restaurant

For those who don’t know, on February 11, 2024, the YouTuber, Elvish was captured slapping a man. In the video, he was seen making his way out of a restaurant when he, all of a sudden, turned back, went up to the man and tightly slapped him. When the man retaliated, Elvish was on his way back again to argue but was stopped by his friends, and was escorted out of the restaurant.

Elvish Yadav issued a statement clarifying the truth behind the viral video

Later on the same day, Elvish issued a statement revealing what exactly went wrong at the restaurant. He claimed that the man was hurling abuses at him and his family, which eventually enraged him. Elvish further went on to explain that he has no interest in fighting with people unless instigated. He said:

"Bhai, dekho, matter ye hai, naa mujhe shauk hai ladai karne ka, naa mere ko haath uthane ka shauk hai. Main apne kaam se kaam rakhta hoon. Main chalta hoon normal. Aur jo photo khichwane ko kehta hai, hum kichwate hai aaram se photo. Par, jo koi piche se comment pass karta hai, usko nahi bakshte.”

Further, in the same statement, Elvish mentioned that there were police and commandos with him, and he did nothing wrong. He said that the incident became personal when the man took a dig at him, and he has zero remorse about the entire incident. He further added:

"As you can see, there were police and commandos with us. It is not that we’ve done anything wrong. This was personal. He took a personal dig at me, I personally went and slapped him. I don’t have any regrets. Aisa hi hoon main. He hurled abuses, and I reacted in my style."
