Netizens have lauded Aalisha Panwar's decision to refuse to enter the 'Bigg Boss 18' show after Chahat Pandey's personal life was exposed.
Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 has hogged the limelight because of the contestant, Chahat Pandey, whose personal life was exposed by Salman Khan. He showed a picture of a fifth-anniversary cake with a special message for her rumored boyfriend, Manas Shah. Now, Chahat has declined all rumors of her linkups. The makers of Bigg Boss 18 then approached Aalisha Panwar, who strictly refused to take part in the show, and netizens are proud of her.
The makers of Bigg Boss 18 wanted Aalisha to enter the show for a special episode. For the unversed, she has worked with Chahat in Nath - Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani . The duo were not on speaking terms, and when Aalisha was asked to talk about Chahat's personal life, she refused. One user on Reddit wrote, "Respect to Aalisha. Finally someone with a spine." Others were proud of her, slammed this season of Bigg Boss 18 and also respected her decision.
Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Aalisha said that the Bigg Boss team had contacted her. They wanted her inside the house for some time and wanted her opinion on Chahat's personal life and how she was on the set. Aalisha also revealed that she is aware of many things about Chahat and her personal life. Aalisha added:
"I am someone who has always maintained one principle in my career. I will never demean a woman. I can never comment on a girl's character, which can actually harm her image. I know that an opportunity of being with the superstar Salman Khan on The stage of Bigg Boss is huge but I stick to my principles. Also there are better things in life to concentrate on for me in 2025.”
During the Family Week, Chahat's mom, Bhavna had entered the Bigg Boss show. Multiple reports were floating online that Chahat was in a relationship, but her mom had a different narrative. She had a heated argument with Avinash Mishra and alleged he had passed derogatory comments about her daughters' personal life. She dismissed the strong claims of Chahat dating and said:
"Our daughter neither has a boyfriend inside nor has he ever been outside. If we get her married to any other boy, she will do it for us."
Earlier, Bhavna, who had appeared on the Bigg Boss 18 show, challenged the makers that if the Bigg Boss team could find a Gujarati guy who is friends with Chahat, she would give them a cash reward of Rs 21 lakh. She had also asserted that her daughter would marry any suitor selected by her mother. Chahat's picture with her rumored boyfriend, Manas Shah also got leaked on social media.
