Enforcement Directorate summons 'Bigg Boss 16' fame, Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik as witnesses in a narcotic funded money laundering case.
Bigg Boss 16 was known for its friendships. Be it the mandli’s camaraderie or Ankita Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhury’s unlikely friendship. The season highlighted relationships like no other. In the entire season, if there was one organic bond that was formed in the house and was undeniably hatke, it was the relationship between Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik. While Shiv did not know English, Abdu was equally a noob when it came to speaking Hindi. The duo communicated via gestures and body language, and it was indeed adorable.
Abdu and Shiv rose to fame together, and their bond grew even stronger after the show. Now, it seems like the duo have landed in the soup together. The Enforcement Directorate summoned Shiv and Abdu for a money laundering case in association with narcotic funding. However, it is important to note that the duo are summoned as witnesses and not as convicts.

Both Shiv Thakarey and Abdu Rozik have a food joint business, and the duo are alleged to be involved in money laundering along with drug lord, Ali Asghar Shirazi. It is alleged the BB16 duo are funded by the drug lord for their respective fast food joints. While Abdu owns a burger food joint, 'Burgiir', Shiv is a proud owner of 'Thakare Chai and Snacks'. For the unversed, Ali Asghar invests in startups, and Shiv and Abdu have driven money from the drug lord via Hustlers Hospitality.
As per numerous reports, Shiv Thakare has already appeared in front of the ED and revealed that he had met the director of Hustlers Hospitality, Krunal Ojha, and derived the funds via him. Shiv added that he met Ojhaa via mutual acquaintances and later formed a business association with him. Shiv cleared that he has never met Ali Asghar and has no connection with the drug lord.

It was also recorded that both Shiv Thakare and Abdu terminated their contract with Hustlers Hospitality after they got to know about its involvement with narcotic products. Abdu is also called for his questioning round and will soon be appearing for the same.
