Bengali social media influencer, Prerana Das surprised her followers as she shared ethereal glimpses of her wedding with content creator, Saikat Dey.
It's officially wedding season, and there is nothing more beautiful than seeing brides from all over India getting decked in their traditional attires. Every region has their own unique ensemble and style, and every bride looks a million bucks on their special day. Bengali influencer, Prerana Das tied the knot with her dear friend and fellow creator Saikat Dey and the duo just shared their first glimpses of their D-day.
Prerana Das is a big name in the Bengali influencer community, and she has over 450 thousand Instagram followers. Prerana and Saikat have been making content for years, and people love their pair, but no one in their wildest dream must have imagined that the duo would surprise them with their wedding photos. Taking to their IG via a collaborative post, the duo dropped a few surreal snaps from their wedding.
For her special day, Prerana opted for a red-hued Banarasi saree with an intricate golden zari design. The saree has a broad golden border and kolka patterns. She accessorised her look with a gold choker and a necklace, along with matching earrings, rings, and matha patti. She wore a mukut to add the oomph factor to her wedding look and even had delicate kolka alpona on her face.
Saikat, on the other hand, looked dapper in a beige-hued kurta with golden patchwork, which he paired with red dhoti. He accessorised his look with a topor, gold watch, and bracelet and held a darpan in his hand, which is a part of Bengali traditions.
Saikat and Prerana looked as happy as ever in the photos, as they looked into each other's eyes. The newlywed couple is yet to share photos from their pre-wedding festivities, and we can't wait to see more snaps from their D-day.
