On November 16, 2020, Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram stories and shared a beautiful picture with her brother, Karnesh Sharma from their childhood days to wish him on Bhai Dooj. In the photo, the brother-sister duo looked super-cute as we can see Karnesh holding his baby sister, Anushka in his arms and the two had posed with their brightest smiles for the camera. Anushka dropped heart emoticons atop the picture. The doting brother, reshared the picture on his IG stories and wrote, "Happy Bhai Dooj" followed by two red heart emoticons atop it. For the uninitiated, both Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma love sharing unseen childhood pictures with one another on their respective social media handles. Something similar had happened on May 1, 2020, when Anushka's brother, Karnesh had taken to his IG handle to wish his baby sister on her happy birthday. The doting brother had made a photo collage of their pictures together from different times and places. In the first picture, we could see baby Anushka with her brother by her side on a cot, in the second one, we could see Anushka smiling playfully at her brother. In the third picture, the actress could be seen posing for the camera, while in the last one, we could see the siblings goofing around. Karnesh had captioned it as "Happy Happy Birthday... In an interview with DNA, Anushka Sharma had recalled on one of her favourite Rakhi memories with her elder brother, Karnesh. She had stated, "My earliest memories of Raksha Bandhan, are of Karnesh saying, 'I don't want a rakhi'. He's always evasive of this celebration while I was an enthusiastic child wanting to tie him that rakhi. I wanted to get him like really big rakhis. Today, we are best friends and have supported each other through everything. He's been such a huge support in my life, and I think that's what this relationship of ours is about."
