Bharti Singh is one of the prominent names in the Indian entertainment industry, especially with her identity as the top of the league comedienne. For the unversed, Bharti found her road to success after she emerged as the second runner-up in the reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Thereafter, she closely worked with Kapil Sharma’s iconic show, and ended up cementing her name as one of the most loved performers. And in the recent episode of her podcast, Bharti shared her heartfelt gratitude for Kapil, whom she considers her mentor.
In a recent podcast episode on her YouTube channel, Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyya played hosts to Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Amongst several other conversations, Bharti revealed a special anecdote about Kapil Sharma, whom she considers as her mentor. While she heaped praise on the kind of aura he has during such live stage performances, Bharti also commended on his friendly attitude towards the other performers, whom he continuously motivates. Bharti further revealed how Kapil has motivated her before her stint on the stage, so that she doesn’t have cold feet and nails it finally. In her words:
“Maine Kapil bhai ke saath kaam kiya hai na. Wo toh banda hi aisa hai ki sacchi mein. Wo jab jaata hai toh.. wo jab wapas aata hai na to dusro ko batata hai, teri audience hai Bharti, tujhe chaa jaana hai. Teri wali audience hai, ab tu dekhna. Kapil bhai ke saath yeh seekhne ko bohot milta hai. Wo mujhe kehte hai ki apne andar wale ko jaano. Unhone kitne baar mujhe meri shakti yaad dilayi hai.”

Earlier, in a conversation with E-Times, Bharti Singh revealed why she had not been a part of Kapil Sharma's latest show on Netflix, The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. For the unversed, with the latest season, Kapil retained many of his previous entertainers, including Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover, however, Bharti was not seen as a part of it. Speaking about the reason behind her absence, Bharti said:
"For now I don’t have any plans on joining Kapil bhai. But if something happens then I will surely join in. Currently, I am busy with my projects, podcasts, shooting Dance Deewane and all but if I get a call then I will surely go. For now, I have quite a few things in my kitty and less time to devote to something new."
In an earlier interaction with BollywoodLife, Bharti Singh had expressed her heartfelt gratitude on being roped in by Kapil Sharma in his popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Bharti, who had been a fairly newcomer back then, not only conveyed her excitement, but also revealed how many other people like her were waiting for Kapil to bring back his iconic show once again. Adding how she waited for nine months, Bharti revealed:
"The wait was longer for me than the rest of the audience because when the rumors started I called up Kapil and assured him that no matter what the world is trying to say, we know how you really are. In between, even I thought that he might not do it and I started getting offers from other shows, but I had decided that unless he tells me that he isn't going to do it and I should carry on, I would wait for him."
