Ananya Panday's mother, Bhavana Pandey had given an expert piece of advice when she was questioned about her daughter's relationship status after her separation from ex-boyfriend, Aditya Roy Kapur.
Ananya Panday made her debut with Student Of The Year 2 in 2019. Ever since then, the actress has been linked with her co-actors, Ishaan Khatter, Kartik Aaryan, and the latest was Aditya Roy Kapur. Talking about Ananya's personal life, it is rumoured that she is in a relationship with former model, Walker Blanco. She was spotted attending high-prolific events, including Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani's wedding with Walker. Their closeness at public events had added much fuel to ongoing speculations. Now, Ananya Panday's mom, Bhavana Pandey, who is away from the limelight, opened up about the dating rumours surrounding her daughter's life.
Bhavna Pandey gave a steer-cut reply, related to Ananya's dating life in the show, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives Season 3. She was asked about the same in the episode when she was shown travelling with her friends, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari and Seema Sajdeh, to Delhi. During her visit to Delhi, Bhavana was asked by a student about her feelings when she saw the news about Ananya being paired with someone or about Shanaya's new dating interest. Bhavana maturely said:
"When I was younger, I was paired with many people. It just didn't make the headlines. That's the difference. So, I think she should lead her life as normal as I led, or any of you lead. The day she decides to get married and tells me, that's the day, maybe, I will get emotional and I will have feelings. Till then I just want her to have a great time."
Earlier, during an interview with the Times of India, Bhavana Pandey revealed that she was always by her daughter's side. Bhavana revealed that she has an honest relationship with Ananya and is confident about her judgement when it came to the matters of heart. Bhavana knew that her daughter was mature enough and knew the art of navigating romantic relationships. As Bhavana had rightly said:
"Navigating relationships in the public eye is tricky, but we talk about maintaining privacy and ensuring that her happiness and well-being come first. Watching Ananya grow into her own has been one of the most fulfilling experiences as a mother. I’m incredibly proud of the person she’s become. The most challenging part is definitely seeing her navigate public scrutiny at such a young age. But Ananya is strong and has a solid support system, so it’s been rewarding to watch her handle both the highs and the challenges with grace."
Media reports online revealed that Aditya Roy Kapur first met the Call Me Bae actress, Ananya Panday at Manish Malhotra's event in 2018. The former couple had kept their relationship under wraps, but they were often spotted together for cosy romantic dinners and movie dates. After dating for a couple of years, a report by the Bombay Times mentioned that the pair broke up in March 2024. Ananya had also got a furry friend to heal from the breakup.
