Bhavya Gandhi, a.k.a. ‘Tapu’ from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is all set to return to SAB TV. However, his fans will get to see him in a fresh and exciting role this time and not as their innocent ‘Tapu’ from ‘Tapu Sena’. Bhavya is set to return to television screens with his new show, Pushpa Impossible. Fans couldn’t keep quiet as the teaser of the show was recently released and they are excited to see the leader of ‘Tapu Sena’ in a fresh role.
Recently, the makers of Pushpa Impossible released a new teaser on their Instagram handle with Bhavya Gandhi in it. With the teaser, the producers announced that Bhavya has joined their team and will soon be seen in the show. They also penned an interesting caption that hinted at the kind of role our ‘Tapu’ would play. The caption read:
“Kal tak jo tha sabki aankhon ka tara, woh ab aa raha hai hai Pushpa ki zindagi mein phailaane andhera. Ab milega zyada wala family time Pushpa Impossible ke saath Mon-Sat, raat 9:35 PM, sirf Sony SAB par.”

Jumping from a loveable hero to a psychotic villain, Bhavya will play the role of ‘Prabhaas’, creating a storm in Karuna Pandey, a.k.a. ‘Pushpa’ and her family’s lives in the show. According to a report by India Forums, the character of Bhavya is set on seeking revenge and destroying ‘Pushpa’ and her family’s lives. Returning as a villain, the actor has bid farewell to his innocent role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, showcasing his versatile range.
As the actor geared up to play a negative role for the first time on television, he also revealed the reason behind it. Bhavya said that being a villain opened many new and delightful experiences for him as it was different than the innocent roles he had played till now. He said:
“Stepping into the role of Prabhaas is a delightful experience for me as I am playing a negative character for the first time and this role is very different from playing the innocent Tapu from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.”
Bhavya also gave us a glimpse of his character and said that ‘Prabhaas’ has a calm exterior but is unpredictable and deeply troubled. The actor also said that he feels good returning to his ‘home channel’, Sony SAB, with a complex character. To quote him:
“Prabhaas is unpredictable and deeply troubled, with a calm exterior that masks intense inner turmoil, making him dangerously fascinating. Returning to television with such a complex character on home channel Sony SAB is incredibly exciting for me.”
