Before that, let us recall when once, Amitabh ji had remembered the time when his life was cloaked by the mist of sorrow and failure, and nothing was going according to his plan. And how his father, the legendary poet, Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan, had consoled him by making him believe in plans of god for him, more than his plans for him! Describing the conversation, Amitabh ji had posted an oil-painted sketch of himself and had written in the caption, "Man ka ho toh accha, man ka na ho toh zyada accha.' Babu ji ne jab mujhe mere jeevan ke ek vichlit mod par ye sikhaya, toh samajh me nahi aaya. Jo man ka na ho wo zyada accha kaise ho sakta hai. Fir jab unhone smajhaya toh samajh gaya. 'Agar tumhare man ka nahi ho raha hai, toh wo ishwar ke man ka ho raha hai, aur ishwar humesha tumhara acch hi chahega, is liye zyada accha!"

Did you know that 'Bachchan' was once the pen name of Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan? The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan had once in his blog shared that how he had gotten the surname 'Bachchan'. He had written, "Babuji was born in a Kayasth home and a Srivastav. But his temperament was always against the ailment of caste, so his nome de plume, his 'takhallus', his pen name he designed as 'BACHCHAN'. Poets and writers of great eminence often designed their names with a nom de plume. So 'Bachchan' became my Father's pen name, his poetic nom de plume, but it lent credence of its concept later when I was born, on being admitted to my first School, and being asked by the teachers what surname of this boy was to be filled in the admission form my Mother and Father had a quick discussion and it was decided that 'Bachchan' would be the family surname."
