'Bigg Boss 18' contestant, Karan Veer Mehra wants to have kids. However, he does not want to feel and look like a grandfather.
Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18, which is getting interesting every day. Contestant, Karan Veer Mehra is taking the limelight on the show with his cute antics. The twice-divorced actor has revealed in the controversial reality show that he wants children. However, he does not want to look like an old grandfather to them.
During a conversation with Chum Darang, Karan Veer confessed to wanting kids. During a light-hearted conversation in the Bigg Boss 18 house, Chum asked Karan if he wanted kids. The actor said he wanted children, which Shilpa Shirodkar added by asking him, "Doesn't he want many kids?" Karan laughed and said:
"Do toh hai mere paas. Do aur ho jayenge toh achha lagega. But phir main school chhodne jaunga toh aisa na bole send papa, why had dada come?”
Shilpa and Chum could not stop laughing at Karan's antics. Shilpa tells Karan to rush and have kids quickly soon after getting out of Bigg Boss. His funny comment left everyone laughing.
Karan has ensured that strong bonds are formed in the Bigg Boss 18 house. He is good friends with Shilpa and Chum and ensures he gives them support even if he is backstabbed. His fights with the other contestants keep him in the light, but his crackling chemistry with Chum has grabbed his fan's attention. The duo always smile when in the company of one another. A clip of them holding hands also went viral recently.
When host Farah Khan asked the contestants to eliminate a contestant, Karan took the name Sara Arfeen Khan. Chum was upset as she had also received a few votes and doubted her friend, putting her in the danger zone. Karan later assured them that he would not risk her, and they sorted out the misunderstanding. A clip went viral where Karan massaged Chum's wrist and she could be seen resting on Karan's shoulders in another clip.
Karan Veer got first married to Devika Mehra whom he had met in school. He had a crush on her as she was the popular girl in school. However, he won her heart and their friendship blossomed into love. They had an impromptu marriage in 2009 and parted ways in 2019. The actor cited compatibility issues and revealed that they had married in haste. Karan once in an interview with DNA revealed about the reason for his separation. He said:
"In my first marriage, we both changed and were no longer the same people who had once fallen in love."
Karan, had then found love in TV actress, Nidhi Seth but that was short lived. He married her in 2021 and they separated in 2023. Karan revealed that he had taken a "hasty decision" to get married as he did not know when the third or fourth lockdown would have happened.
