As the season finale of Bigg Boss 18 nears, the battle for the crown gets more intense, and all the friendships and bonds are being put to the test. The season has already made it into the history of the show in terms of controversies, friendships, drama and candid revelations. The show gave its viewers unfiltered insight into their favourite socialites' lives. However, the drama keeps on reaching a new high with every episode.
Tajinder Bagga is a well-known politician who was recently seen on Bigg Boss 18. However, his journey on the show was short-lived, as he was eliminated from the show. Nonetheless, that has not prevented the politician from keeping a close eye on developments inside the house. Recently, Tajinder spoke about an issue that has shaken the house since last week and voiced his support for Shrutika Arjun, with whom the former shared a close bond. For the unversed, Shrutika has faced a wave of backlash for Digvijay Singh Rathee’s elimination. However, her friend has her back and has come forward in her defence.
Tajinder spoke to Cine Speaks and stated that Shrutika was playing a fair game. He added that Digvijay's elimination was not on her as the other housemates voted for the latter. He stated that Shrutika only gave the ranking after everything was in the hands of the other housemates; hence, she should not be blamed for it. Tajinder was quoted as:
"When Shrutika gave the rankings, she didn’t know what was going to happen. She was already targeted, as people said, ‘You’re confused.’ If Shrutika had changed the rankings later, people would have blamed her for being confused. There were six options and Shrutika chose from them. She never said that Digvijay should be eliminated. If 8 housemates are voting against someone, how can Shrutika be responsible? Shrutika gave the rankings and after that, everything was decided by the votes of the housemates. So, if Shrutika is getting blamed, the other 8 housemates who voted should also be blamed. Shrutika always plays fair and dares to call out anyone who is wrong."
Tajinder Bagga addressed the recent controversy that Kashish Kapoor and Avinash Mishra are in the middle of. The issue began when Kashish accused the actor, Avinash, of being a womaniser for flirting with her. The politician disagreed with Kashish's accusation. He said that it was unfair of Kashish to accuse Avinash of such a thing. In his opinion, flirting happened on both sides. However, he felt that Kashish was more involved in the act. Still, he believed it was harmless flirting and making such a huge deal out of it was uncalled for. Tajinder also highlighted how labels can do permanent damage to someone's image; hence, one should refrain from using such huge terms lightly. For the unversed, in a clip from the show, Salman Khan was seen schooling Kashish for using such narratives against Avinash.
