Sara Gurpal is a Punjabi actress and singer, who hails from Haryana. She has a degree in fashion designing from Chandigarh. Sara had started out with music and had later ventured into films like Dangar Doctor Jelly and Manje Bistre. She has songs like Ishq Bimaari, Lagdi Att, Slow Motion, and Teen Peg to her name. However, she had gained overnight fame with Punjabi singer, Ranjit Bawa's song, Jean. Sara had made her debut in acting in 2017 with Gippy Grewal. Sara is a known face in Punjabi entertainment industry as she had featured in several music videos like Manan Bhardwaj's Tumhe Dillagi and Mizaaj-ae-Ishq.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, in an interview with SpotboyE, Sara Gurpal bared it all about her plans, her strategies and whether she's open to finding love inside the house. When asked if we should expect a musical journey in this season of Bigg Boss, as there are many singers in the house, Sara said, "Of course! If these many singers are going in the house, there will be a source of entertainment for the housemates also along with the viewers. Music heals your body and mind. So, I am sure we are going to have the best of the time inside."
Sara also expressed her excitement on Raadhe Maa being a partcipant as she's a huge fan of her. She said, "I am so excited to meet her that I can't even tell you. When I meet her, I will ask her, 'Maa kahan thi tum?' I love her man. I have seen her interviews and I find her extremely cute when she talks." When it was pointed out that Shehnaaz Gill and Himanshi Khurana had gained a lot of fame in the previous season, and is Sara is also expecting the same, she said, "Obviously. What's common between the 3 of us is Punjab. So, is saal bhi Punjab ka jhanda lehrana hai. Not just Season 13 and 14, the next Season too should have someone from the Punjabi industry to make us proud."
Sara was also asked is she knows Shehnaaz and Himanshi personally and if she took any suggestions from either of them before entering the Bigg Boss house. She replied, "No, I know both of them but I am not that close to any of them to take advice. I haven't taken any suggestions from anyone. I am very good at keeping friendships. Hence, I am on good terms with everyone in our industry. Even if I would have taken advice, I would have not applied it. Kyunki main sunti sabki hoon par karti apni hoon."
When asked what kind of equations is she expecting to make with last year's winner, Siddharth Shukla, as he will also be locked inside for some time, Sara said, "Bhaiya vo hain mere Jiju aur ham aisi nazar nahi rakhte. I really like him as a person but Shehnaaz is like a sister to me as we both are from Punjab. So, I will not try to woo him. In fact, I will treat him just like my Jijaji." On the question of if she's looking to find love inside the house, Sara replied, "It is extremely difficult for anyone to please me.
