It all started when Rajev had posted a picture from his intimate wedding on October 14, 2022, without revealing the details about his bride. In the picture, we could see his bride's back while Rajev happily looked at her, dressed as a groom. Alongside it, the actor penned a note and mentioned that he had once again taken all the vows. His note could be read as:

"They say once bitten twice shy... But still.. It's worth a try... Once again...all the vows...the rituals... Itne saare log shaadi kar rahe hai Koi Karwa Chauth mana raha hai... Well...now it's time.. Happiness for all."

A few moments back, Rajev Paul shared a series of pictures from the set of his show, Sasuraal Simar Ka 2 and rubbished his wedding rumours. He clarified that the picture was from the show as all the characters were getting remarried and added that he had posted it as a joke. However, he ended up receiving a lot of congratulatory messages from his industry friends who got confused by his supposed marriage. His note can be read as:

"Combination of bad internet and low battery after a fun post results in a post going viral. All the family members of my show SSK2 are actually getting re-married, including my character GiriRaj Oswal. But I appreciate all the love that I accidently recieved from my friends from the media and the industry, actually congratulating me for my supposed marriage. Thank you so much... Magar why are you all so keen to get me married.. Khush rehne do na yaar."

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rajev Paul opened up about his marriage reports and shared that the picture was from a wedding sequence from his show, Sasuraal Simar Ka 2. However, he added that he posted that picture as a joke, and soon after that he lost internet connectivity for hours. Sharing that he got tonnes of congratulatory messages and calls, the actor said:

“I posted that picture in jest, and we are shooting in a place where there is bad network. I lost internet connectivity for hours, and then my phone’s battery was dead. The moment I turned my phone on, I was flooded with congratulatory messages and calls. Then I realised what people had perceived.”

Further in the interview, Paul stated that he has no plans to get married anytime soon and clarified that he is single. He also mentioned that he finds it ironic when people say that they are 'happily married' and stated that it's their choice. Adding that he is not seeing anyone, the 52-year-old said:

“For that, the minimum requirement is a girl, and I am totally single. I am not seeing anyone, nor do I want to get married. Once bitten is indeed twice shy. People say they are ‘happily married’ which is ironic. Never say never. But for now, I am happy being single and don’t want to get married. Nothing against those people who do believe in it, though. It’s their choice.”

Meanwhile, Rajev Paul's ex-wife, Delnaaz Irani moved on in her life, and she is currently in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend, DJ Percy. It was on her 50th birthday when Percy proposed to Delnaaz, and the duo promised each other to grow old together. However, the couple is not looking forward to getting married anytime soon.
