Gautam took charge of his family business from his father, Vijaypat and since then, the father-son duo has locked their horns and has been publicly feuding.

The Raymond Group owner owns two helicopters, available for private hire. Apart from this, Gautam Singhania owns a Bombardier Challenger 600 private jet, which is priced at Rs 150 crore. As per CNBC, Gautam Singhania’s planes’ interiors are done by Erich H. Roth. Gautam Singhania is a flying enthusiast and had once flown a Sukhoi fighter jet in Ukraine.

Gautam Singhania not only loves racing cars but speedboats too. The business tycoon has named his speedboats after James Bond movies as Goldeneye, Goldfinger, Octopussy and Thunderball. Apart from speedboats, the billionaire also has two luxurious yachts.
As per The New York Post, his yacht, the Moonraker can accommodate 10 people and also has a gym, and cinema. The showers in the yacht use aroma therapy and coloured lights. The name of his other yacht is Ashena, which is made of teak.
The water beauty can also accommodate 10 passengers along with 8 crew members. According to a report in Economic Times, Hollywood actress, Liz Hurley had used this yacht for her wedding with Arun Nayar in 2007.
Another expensive thing owned by Gautam Singhania is his lavish abode, the JK House. Gautam’s skyscraper is the second tallest residence in India after Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia. Located in South Mumbai, this palatial abode is a tourist attraction and is valued at Rs. 600 crores.
The luxurious feature of this skyscraper includes a spa, helipads, and pools. It is also reported that the skyscraper also has a private museum devoted to the family’s fabric business, including bits of material, pictures and accolades from when the family first started the business. The museum also boasts a collection of Jade. The house has five floors dedicated to Gautam’s multi-crore automobile collection.

Gautam has diversified the 97-year-old company and now has interests in the field of property and engineering. In an interview with Your Story, Gautam Singhania shared his thoughts on the strength of the company and stated:
“An iconic brand is normally built over a long period of time – Raymond has been here for 97 years. It’s seen the ups and it’s seen the downs. That’s what really makes it a brand.”
Talking about Gautam Singhania’s personal life, there have been reports of his feud with his father, Vijaypat Singhania since Gautam took over the family business in 2001. As per Vijaypat, he had given a 37 per cent share of his textile empire to Gautam. Vijaypat also claimed that he did not choose to retire but was kicked out of the business.
Vijayapat had once stated that giving a share of his empire to Gautam was a mistake that he shouldn’t have made. Reacting to his father’s statement, Gautam stated that one could not mistakenly gift a business to someone. There were also reports that Gautam didn’t give his father any space in the JK house, leaving him homeless. However, Gautam rubbished off the reports, calling them baseless.
With a net worth of approximately 1.4 billion US dollars, Gautam Singhania has got huge money at his disposal to burn on fast cars, luxurious choppers and a lavish lifestyle. However, his luxurious possessions give us a glimpse of his fine taste.
