We are talking about Indian billionaire G. Janardhana Reddy’s daughter, Brahmani Reddy’s South Indian wedding. Brahmani’s wedding was a perfect example of a fairytale union. Business mogul G. Janardhana Reddy is also called the mining baron. He established a non-banking finance company called Ennoble India Savings and Investment Company Limited and enjoys a whopping net worth. The business tycoon left no stone unturned to make his daughter’s wedding one of the most memorable events.
Brahmani married Rajiv Reddy, son of Hyderabad-based businessman, Vikram Deva Reddy, in 2016. G. Janardhana Reddy spent approximately Rs. 550 crores on Brahmani’s wedding. Since Janardhana Reddy is a politician, many eminent political figures attended the event. Apart from eminent personalities, almost 50,000 guests graced the wedding.
Celebrities like Tamannaah Bhatia, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Mani, Prabhu Deva, comedian Brahmanand, and Kannada star Yash performed at Brahmani’s wedding. Over 2000 cabs and 15 helicopters were hired to fly VIP guests from their hotels to the venue.
Big fat Indian weddings always flaunt luxury, so much that Brahmani Reddy’s wedding invite itself cost Rs. 5 crores. The highlight of the invite was an LCD screen displaying a song picturised on the Reddy family. The wedding took place in the Bengaluru Palace, in which the entire 36 acres of land was designed to resemble Hampi.
Just like the lavish venue and guests, the bridal attire also boasted magnificence. Brahmani Reddy wore many designer labels at her wedding and pre-wedding events. For the sangeet ceremony, she donned a golden embellished lehenga with floral motifs inspired by Vrindavan Gardens by ace designer, Neeta Lulla. For the wedding, Brahmani opted for a red kanjeevaram half-saree, designed in 22-carat gold with heavy work of pure gold. It reportedly cost Rs. 17 crores.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and when the girl is a billionaire’s daughter, then this stands absolutely true. For her wedding, Brahmani donned diamonds from head to toe. Her wedding jewellery included a headgear with several strands of diamonds connected with her maang teeka. A broad diamond kamarbandh, bajubandh, a diamond choker, layered necklace, matching earrings and bangles. According to various reports, Brahmani’s wedding jewellery was estimated to be worth Rs. 90 crores.
