Actress and TMC MP, Nusrat Janan's son, Yishaan's birth certificate mentions the identity of his father.
Actress and TMC MP, Nusrat Jahan had embraced motherhood on August 26, 2021, with the arrival of her baby boy. And since then, she has been enjoying every moment with her little munchkin. However, there has been a lot of controversies regarding the identity of his father as Nusrat did not disclose the same.
For the uninitiated, Nusrat had married businessman, Nikhil Jain on June 19, 2019, in the Turkish town of Bodrum. Since her wedding, the actress had been making headlines for her inter-faith marriage and then for the split with her husband in mid-2021. Amid reports of Nusrat's separation with Nikhil Jain, the actress' pregnancy rumours were rife too. Her alleged linkup with actor, Yash Dasgupta was also the talk of the town.

Ever since the birth of Nusrat's child, there has been a lot of gossip around the identity of his father as her ex-husband, Nikhil Jain had claimed that the baby was not his. Nusrat, too, had taken a stand that she would not disclose the name of her baby's father. And now, amid all the fiasco, a report by Times Now reveals that the child's birth certificate mentions the father's name as Yash Dasgupta. The certificate mentions the baby's name as Yishaan J Dasgupta and the father's name as Debashish Dasgupta, also known as Yash Dasgupta.
On September 8, 2021, Nusrat Jahan had made her first public appearance after delivering her baby boy. The actress had resumed work as she attended the opening of a salon in Kolkata in less than a month after the birth of her child. However, while addressing the media, when Nusrat was asked about giving a glimpse of her child, the actress had said that her son's father is not letting her show the baby's face to anyone.

During the media interaction, when a reporter had asked Nusrat Jahan about the child's father, she had retorted saying that it puts a question mark on the character of a woman. She had said, ''I think that’s a vague question to ask and puts a black spot on somebody’s character as a woman, who the father is.''
Going further in the interaction, Nusrat Jahan had also revealed that her son's father knows that he is the father of the child, and therefore there is no need for her to answer others. She had added, ''The father knows who the father is and we are having great parenthood together at the moment. Myself and Yash, we are having a good time.”
