'Love Hostel' actor, Bobby Deol opened up about his half-sister, Esha Deol Takhtani's return as an actress on the digital platform with her web series, 'Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness'. Deets inside!
Bollywood actor, Vijay Singh Deol, popularly known as Bobby Deol, is a well-known actor in the Hindi film industry. The son of legendary actor, Dharmendra and the younger brother of iconic actor, Sunny Deol, he belongs to one of the most successful families in the film industry. Apart from giving stellar performances in many critically and commercially acclaimed films, Bobby had also made his entry into the digital platforms with the web series, Aashram.
The actor has transformed his professional career upside down with his work on OTT platforms. Bobby Deol has impressed everyone with his performances in films like Class Of '83 and Love Hostel. For the unversed, Bobby had tied the knot with Tania Ahuja in 1996. And the couple is blessed with two sons, Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol.

In an interview with ETimes, Bobby Deol was asked about his reaction to his father, Dharmendra and Hema Malini's daughter, Esha Deol Takhtani's successful comeback as an actress on OTT with her web series, Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness. Answering this, Bobby praised his half-sister and called her a 'hands-on mother'. In his concluding statement, Bobby said:
"Esha is a hands-on mother of two (daughters Radhya and Miraya) and a dedicated working professional. Her getting back to acting proves that once an actor, always an actor! It is something that you can never let go of."
Going further in the interview, Bobby Deol also opened up about his hopes for his professional journey during his older years. When the actor was asked about his future plans and when he would like to stop working in the film industry, refuting the retirement talks, Bobby clearly stated that he hopes and would love to work just like his father and veteran actor, Dharmendra, even in his 80s. The iconic actor, Dharmendra is 86 at the moment and still working in films, and his son, Bobby admitted that he also wants the same sort of motivation in his life, as he also wants to follow in his father's footsteps. Heaping praises on his superstar daddy, Bobby said:
"I am so happy for my dad. He told me that he never thought he would be working at this age and yet, he got cast in such a big film by a renowned banner. Like my dad, I hope to be working when I am his age. This is what inspires me the most about him. I wish to work as an actor till the day I stop breathing."
At the end of the interview, Bobby Deol also referred to his father, Dharmendra as a 'child', as he praised his daddy's immense enthusiasm to work more even after achieving everything that is there to win in his illustrious career. The doting son also revealed that his father often shares videos and pictures from the sets with him and other family members. No doubt, it's truly remarkable to see Dharmendra working with all his heart and pure dedication from his side towards his craft. Reflecting on the same, Bobby said:
"He is like a child. Dad is so dedicated and has that fire to keep working. He would keep sending us (family members) pictures and videos and share his plans on how he was to portray his character in the film. He has achieved so much in life, yet he is so dedicated to his craft… and still dying to be out there and perform."
