Bobby Deol's wife, Tania Deol, is going through a tough phase as her mother, Marlene Ahuja passed away on September 3, 2023. For the unversed, the entire Deol family was celebrating the success of Sunny Deol's film, Gadar 2, and the news came as a shock. For the unversed, Bobby Deol has always been a son to the Ahujas, who is a renowned millionaire family in Mumbai.

Bobby Deol's mother-in-law took her last breath

Bobby Deol's mother-in-law, Marlene Ahuja was suffering from a prolonged illness. However, her health had deteriorated a couple of days ago. A source close to the couple revealed that Tania's mother passed away on Sunday evening. Bobby Deol often shared pictures with his mother-in-law on his IG handle and considered her like his mother.

Know all about Bobby Deol's in-laws

For those who don't know, Tania Deol's mother, Marlene Ahuja also has two more children — Vikram Ahuja and Munisha Ahuja. Tania Deol is the daughter of multi-millionaire banker, late Devendra Ahuja, who was the promoter of Centurion Bank and was also the MD of 20th Century Finance Company.

If reports are to believed in June 2010, Devendra Ahuja, through a public notice in newspapers had disowned his only son, Vikram Ahuja and had taken his name out of all his properties and businesses. It is alleged that Devendra Ahuja had apparently given his entire Rs 300 crore property and ownings, to his daughter, Tania.

In fact, when Devendra Ahuja passed away in August 2010, his son-in-law, Bobby Deol had performed his last rites and his son, Vikram wasn't allowed to do anything. In a media interaction with The Times Of India, Vikram had revealed that he was left devasted as it was his sister, Tania, who deprived him of performing his father's last rites.
